Excellent mare,but I believe she might struggle to confirm this form in Europe.It looked a fairly slow run race,anything drawn wide or held up,never really got into it and they all finished on top of each other.She on the other hand had an excellent posi all the way,closer than usual ,always handy when not much pace on.IMO..
This is the third straight running of this race that the European's have sent over some pretty good horses, and they disappoint again. Conduit finished 4th in this race in 2009. Cirrus Des Aigles 9th, Joshua Tree 10th, and Dandino 11th in 2010. This year saw the Arc winner, Danedream finish 6th, the Arc runner-up, Shareta, finish 7th, and Sarah Lynx finished 12th. These are all some really good horses in their own right who have struggled against the Japanese horses in this race.
For the second straight year in the Japan Cup, Buena Vista shows once again why she's one of the best middle distance turf horses in the world. Male or female. After the disgraceful decision to disqualify her from last year's win, there can be no more deserving a winner than Buena Vista this year!! I really hate she only has one more start in the G1 Arima Kinen next month. I would dearly love to see her back in Dubai one more time. But for a second crack at the Sheema Classic. Not the DWC. JMO.
