i enjoy my sohc and everything, it looks a lot like the one in here...same year, color and everything. anyway im sayin that i need more horses for this thing, other than a cold air intake (cuz i already have one) what other performance mods would anyone recommend?

@Krewnaygul Hope you have the K&N FIPK.. CAI are deemed useless for 3000gt's. If you want to mod, change the intake manifold.

@GeneralCracka I own a '97 3S and the rear visibility is blocked by the rear spoiler lol. I use the side view mirrors to look behind.

WRONG. Most reliable 3000gt model and its not that slow fastest non turbo 3000gt is still a sohc in terms of horsepower.

Sorry I have to be the one to say it but, the front bumper...where's the rest of the kit? Those chrome wheels with no drop, the dink lettering in the rear view mirror? Rice.

tail lights look cool, that front bumper doesn't really fit though, and is one of your legs shorter than the other?! the video is constantly going up and down as you go around the car lol. nice car overall

very nice job with the looks, but i wouldnt bother with the sohc. i got a dohc stealth non turbo and even though theres like 220 horse it still aint that quick. plus these things are prone to havin things go wrong with em. you gotta have patience to own one

i definitely agree w/ the patience! i have a '96 3kGT Base and oh my god! the things i've replaced and taken care of on that thing! but one last repair in a year and it'll be absolutely good to go! i've probably put in about 2-3 grand alone in trying to maintain that sucker! constant constant issues!

Okay If i am not mistaken..... BUT this is a DOHC.... Saying that, the sohc all came with cloth interior... this car has leather which is what the DOHC or SL versions had for interior seats... I have both a sohc and a vr4 and i am pretty much love this car... so i am pretty sure i am right but if i am wrong prove it...

take a closer look buddy, they are cloth. The rear has leather/plastic inserts but look at where it shows the shoulder of the front seat. :) - 95 SL owner.

you got a SOHC 3000gt right? congradulations you jus got a heavy ass 4th gen eclipse. EXACT same engine if you dont know. both 6G72's but the DOHC's had about 50-100 more hp... which made it a beast. and yes you can make the car faster but only wit a BUTT FUCK amount of money. and even then you will have all power to FWD or as most racers like to call it WRONG wheel drive. so jus get a VR4 for dat amount of money save you time and get the extra 400lbs to make power go to ALL wheels.

haha... that is not the definition of a ricer... well the so called off the record defenition... A ricer is a car that has one to many decals or a park bench for a spoiler or even a overly loud exhaust.... but the main way that you have a ricer is if you have all show and no go... unless you do it with class.
