There are several things that, despite his incredibly tragic death, I'm relieved he was never around for:
-The likes of what popular culture has become today.
-Singing with a microphone attached to your head and dancing around like a crazed fool. Elvis was born to sing with a mic in his hand.
-Lisa Marie marrying MJ. That's as bad as murder.

I've heard/read so much about teenagers and drive-ins, juke/burger joints, and drag racing Main St. Back when teenaged boys didn't have to hide behind guns and teenaged girls weren't beating each other senseless in the locker room. Families had more time for each other and a parent could send their child to the neighbor's without worry. I dearly love my life but I bet those were much happier times. Peace and love to you Ma'am.

@kolly2233 Well without drugs many of music would not had been heard. In any way, he needed them to just make to next day. There IS still a lot of people who need medicament to just keep theyself alive.
Elvis didn't use drugs, he maybe experimented, but never abused them. He used medicaments from doctors, whitch afterwards became illegal. But it was then all legal so, anybody unhealthy would get same medicaments.

Wow....Elvis was always handsome, but he looked like a god in 1970. The song is excellent, but the quality and range of his voice performing it was amazing. I am a fan of Sinatra, but there is no way he could ever sing like Elvis could.
