Well, it is scary to see a man as old as me exploiting the situation to get close to an attractive young woman, but that said, it is also nice to hear. Nice contrast of young and old, makes the hurt of love admitted by the youthful writer more subtle when old Keef duets with someone talented and much younger, yet is still trying to communicate live on stage, not to us but to her, that he believes it, that love hurts. I would disagree. Keith sings the same way he plays the guitar.  He has such a good understanding of melody and harmony that he manages to weave his voice around Norah's in a unique and unimitable way. Good on you, Keith! Good duet.

He was a choir boy in his youth (before he sex drugs and rock n roll left his voice shot) Just because his voice isn't smooth doesn't mean its out of tune! (he still has excellent pitch and timing: two of the most important aspects of singing) It's very much an acquired taste (but if you want something really hard on the ears, try Tom Waits!)

I suspect it was hard for her, being such an AMAZING vocalist, to try to stand there and stay on key/in tune dueting with someone who is technically NOT as amazing a vocalist. She had to really concentrate. Probably doesn't find herself in that situation often, if ever. And he's just having a blast, because he's Keith F-ING Richards and he's sung with EVERYONE!! He's clearly thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. She is probably just thinking "Oh My God, I'M ON STAGE WITH Keith RICHARDS!"
