The town is Warminster (est. circa A.D. 900) in England. The time was early 1960's when Warminster residents increasingly reported strange UFO phenomena that crested in 1965, but which continued into 1970's. This filmed event likely dates to 1965, not 1945. Clothing worn by men and women of assemblage, not of 1940's style, is the dead giveaway.
