As much as I love the Hives (or did in Middle school)...I have to say the new album isn't going to have much success. Hives aren't commercial-sounding enough, but I respect them for not selling out.

i dunno there are alot of bands out right now that are like the hives, im not saying they sound like other bands its just they will fit in well with the world music scene at the moment. listening to bands that other people arent listening to is cool if that makes any sense at all, with that in mind i think the new album should do well.

You can't knock the Hives until you see them live. I saw them when they were touring Tyrannosaurus Hives and they were hands down the best band I've ever seen live.
