I cannot get Real Racing 2 to run. It took about 2-3 hours on wi-fi to download the data. Once it did, the orange EA loading screen came, followed by the intro video. But after that, on the screen it shows Real Racing 2 (The logo had an HD written on it, unlike the one in your video), it tries to load, but then it shown an error (Error Loading m3g rr_track18.m3g). I tried putting the files onto my SD (android\data\com.real.... folder) but it did not help. Please help me.

@siddhanthgupta you have to use the samsung galaxy 2 version. copy the sd data, and click 'no' where it says it needs to download data. the game will start fine.

@rogermorsee There is no option to click no. Only a single button for download. Cancelling it exits the game to the application list. Also, will the apk file also change for different phones? I was using an xperia mini before this (MSM 8255 chipset) and different data was downloaded compared to what was downloaded in the note. Isn't the data the thing that varies for different chipsets?

Please help me. .. When i download real racing. .. It takes almost 2 houres to download. .. And just when i open the game it looks like its 100 % compatible it plays the music and than it says loading failed. ... How did you get real racing on your note? ??

@TheAladmeral i use at the moment SPB Shell 3D. It is not cheap but is ok if you like to pay applications. I used a lot ADW Launcher EX but it is not smooth on this phone (because of a high resolution I guess). I don't like Launcher Pro and I don't like GO Launcher...so I ended up using this SPB Shell which also offers a Tablet layout...everything smaller looks just like a tablet now if you have good eyes small characters won't be a problem :)

@jackl1 well the phone heats up...I think is the battery that has to drain because of the cpu usage...and also cpu and gpu. The phone is very thin so you notice it also on the screen. Nothing to worry about. You can help by turning off wifi when playing

How would you get Fruit Ninja THD to work on a non-Tegra device like the Note?

@GotNextVideo I actually do not know. I own both the normal version and the THD version. I was able to run the THD version on the desire HD by running Chainfire 3d. On the Samsung Galaxy Note, the Ninja THD is normally listed on the market...and you don't need chainfire to play it. So, I think they removed the exclusive for tegra devices...and ninja THD is available also for non-tegra devices. The same happened for samurai 2, Riptide GP and Shadowgun (run perfect on galax note without chainfire)

@MrBehemoths my phone is rooted. you don't need it but it makes everything more simple and I need it to fully use my phone for advanced applications....

About 9MM: it should be now compatible with samsung galaxy note. From your phone, go on the gameloft website, you should be able to buy the game there (the samsung galaxy note will be recognized as GT-I9220 instead of Galaxy Note or GT-N7000).

@rogermorsee ooops the game name is StarFront: Collision, not StarFront:Collision. I think you can find it so it's the number 1 RTS on Android from Gameloft. So I think I'll son get SGN and will install thing game

@Artemkinskyi not really. it has only 3 buttons (menu, main button and back button) against the 4 buttons of my old desire HD....i miss the fourth button for custom application shortcut...other than that, the battery is very good, display quality, power of cpu/gpu....we just need to wait for all the applications to be compatible for this 'half tablet'...a mixture between a telephone system and a tablet setup, so some apps are not 100% compatible (games in particular)

@nightriders92 asphalt 6 is fully compatible with the galaxy note. It is also free in many regions (Samsung Apps, games, racing). NFS HP: I used the data from a sony ericsson...try different data folder, and don't forget to use chainfire.

Cant use chainfire since my Note isnt rooted..what are the pros n cons for rooting? Doesnt it void the warranty

@nightriders92 root pros and cons: pros = everything, cons = nothing. I don't think you lose the warranty, because you can root the device and stay with the stock rom...so i don't think is a problem for the warranty. I suggest you root it, because root gives access to many apps...chainfire is one of them, and it helps a lot with games. Without chainfire you can play any game you find on the market. Sprinkle, backstab, brothers in arms, modern combat. Also dead space but is not on the market

@nightriders92 i know. you have to manually add the game data...i used the data of a sony ericsson. for asphalt 6: i don't know, it is available on the samsung apps...there is a way to change region in the samsung apps app, but i don't know how to do it. i sure know that asphalt 6 is one of the few game that don't require any trick to run...

@TONScarFaceMON use always galaxy S2 versions. Its GPU is mali, as is the Galaxy note's one. If it doesn't work, tweak it with chainfire. I have checked the texture box (lower resolution) and some other things, otherwise it would be 99% of the screen pink.

@AK47SSSR graphically is actually very good...especially the internal cockpits...anyway I think the best i have seen on mobile is dead space. Even modern combat 3 I don't think it's graphically as good as dead space. And also dead space is always 60 fps while modern combat 3 stutters a lot

@Silencesdoom SPB shell 3d (bought from market) with tablet setting visualization. Only if you have good eyes ;) you'll have very small items on screen with tablet settings.

@Oceanus169 have u downloaded the game version that is compatible for MALI gpu? G. Note got Mali. It sucks to use chainfire for an already expensive and powerful phone. A powerful phone like Note doesnt deserve chainfire.

@agentrupert01 we need chainfire at the moment because the games are not compatible yet...it is thing of the developers to fix the games for the devices that come out with the time...it is a MALI gpu but it renders higher resolution and not everything can be always compatible.

@rogermorsee yes, thats one thing i hate about android,, takes time for game dev to make their games compatible w/ each android devices or u will only get blackscreen,whitescreen,force close,lag etc. I hope android os is only locked in samsung like ios only for apple devices...hehehe
