Please if anyone sees this, Ive never wanted anything more in my life than to go see angers, not only that but there is someone there waiting for me there too, but I have no way to get there. I know someday I can fulfill that dream, but I cant do it on my own. please help! -Cassie <3

Currently in Angers right now spending a year abroad. Town is amazing. Next year we will have trams throughout the town!

@lrishR3D nice, I have been twice to visit. It is a great starting point to a bike trip along the loire to visit the chateaux of the region, drink great wine and of course see the loire valley on bicycle

@lrishR3D We have it right now. Our town is more beautiful with the tram. It is shame that inhabitants consider Angers less that its value. We have assets. We are 160 000; 270 000 in a larger view. We must tell it to the world !

What is this town known for ? how's the food ??

there is a university which is known to foreigners who wish to study in France, also the chateau has one of the best preserved tapestries from 12th century I believe. Its also near the Loire river. Food is excellent, the city has a certain charm, you find out when you visit :-). Wines in the region are very yummy, ligher reds, very good, samur, chamigny, also anjou makes a great rosé

I love Angers. I spent 1 year studying there. It's so special. The Cremaliere is the best creperie EVER!
