Hey there! Have you thought about the maximus muscle 247 workout (google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy gained lots of muscle with it.
I know what it means but what does it mean in practical terms? Most people will say eat clan foods and low fat foods and take a protein powder because it's what people are supposed to do. My point is people often use terms like this but they add little value. Have you read Odysi Zero } Lose Weight: Say No to Dieting and Exercise and that will blow your mind!
In practical terms for me personally, it's eating only foods that are found in nature: Meat (Mostly fish, chicken, some pork, beef), Nuts (walnuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, Brazil nuts, etc.), Eggs (I eat about a dozen a week), Vegetables (non-starchy, mostly grown above ground), Fruit (Low fructose and in limited amounts, ie. berries, apples, not grapes or bananas). Absolutely no refined grains like bread, pasta, etc. Added sugars like sweet sauces, ketchup, use very sparingly.
I should clarify what I mean about vegetables grown "above ground". What I meant was non root vegetables. Root veggies tend to be full of starch which gets converted to sugar in the body. I do eat some root veggies in moderation like carrots or turnip which contain much less starch than potato.
I've been eating this diet for 3 weeks, I haven't counted calories at all and have already lost 15 lbs. I try to keep carb intake below 50g-75g/day which is ketogenic. Hope that helps.

HOW TO LOSE FAT
1) Cut out carbs in the evenings (eat "low glycemic" carb sources in the day).
2) Choose the exercises that burn the most calories (NOT sit ups and curls). Squats, Lunges, Pull Ups etc. are great examples.
3) Use the software and meal plans from FatLossCustomized. com

@angelofangle You are absolutely right. But I gotta say, I started gaining weight about a year ago for a bit, not fast, but scary anyhow. Started using a good multivitamin, and started LOSING weight. So I wasn't getting enough of something, possibly calcium. Now I am thinner then I started out. I never eat a whole lot to start with, though maybe not the best nutrition. Before that, I would have said exactly what you did. Move around more/eat less, done. But now I don't think its so simple.
@lollipopfop It is true that it isn't as simple as that. There is a lot of factors that goes with it since we are human. However, in the weightloss industry, there been so much crap out there that such as HCG diets, crash diets, ab belts, and other crazy complex fancy things that people are constantly introduced to that they started forgetting the basics which is eat sensibly and exercise. We started worrying more about our cortisol level than how much we exercise or are we eating too much.

This is not true. You can only burn fat across the entire body. This will not remove "love handles" at all, it will actually build muscle in that area. The only real way to get rid of "love handles" is by maintaining a proper diet and doing cardio. I don't see how this woman is an expert when she has no knowledge what so ever about how the human body looses fat.

You can't target specific areas of your body for weight loss, all you can do is try to lose weight in general, everyones body loses weight from different places at different rates depending on your "body type" - you can target specific areas for muscle mass gain, but NOT for weight loss.

This exercise will develop the oblique muscles, but if you want to get rid of the fat layer on top of them so you can actually see the obliques, then eat a low fat diet of natural foods, and do some high intensity interval training 3 or 4 times per week for 20 minutes at a time. Forget those low intensity strolls on the treadmill for a hour while you watch TV.

@davidmij Exactly. Spot training NEVER works for fat loss. You want to do full body exercise to build up the metabolic machinery to burn fat ALL THE TIME, not just when you're working out. You also need to take a serious look at your diet. Cut out the empty calories. Stick to good fats and protein. lather, rinse, repeat

There may be no such thing as "Isolated fat loss" but this particular exercise helps promote fat loss in that area by building muscle there. And I'm pretty sure, the more muscle you have in an area, the more fat you burn in that area.

@ShawnChrisLeoSmithy Trust, I get what you're saying about that but what I was trying to say was that building muscle anywhere will replace the fat that was there.... Building muscle means more exercising, so therefore you are losing fat but technically when you gain muscle you also gain "weight" because muscle weighs more than fat. Any form of exercise will get you to lose fat but to lose fat overall you have to run, however you also have to keep a good healthy diet to become healthy.

@anitaatsisteract well if you have a lot of FAT on your stomach, the more muscle you build on your core the more fat you will burn. I do hardcore isolation exercises on my abs and my stomach is small as hell. The muscle caused my whole midsection to shrink.
@ShawnChrisLeoSmithy the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn. My personal experience is that when all I did was cardio, I still had a lot of body fat. When I switched to circuit training with weights I lost a dramatic amount of body fat. My whole body shape was changed.

Just starting out doing the kettlebells. I'm using 5 lbs. Will those be effective enough for now, or should I be getting at least a 10 lb to be effective???
to everyone watching this: you cant spot reduce fat. if you want to get rid of your love handles, you need to reduce your overall body fat percentage!
That is not how you do a windmill. Spot reduction is a myth. That shearing pressure on the knee is not good. The foot should be in-line with the knee, which should be in line with the hip. Nothing you teach in this video is good. Do not do this exercise. look up how to actually do a kettlebell windmill, bent or side press.
@kertcobainSA I'm been doing a lot of good cardio and I still can't see much of a difference in my love handles area. I do about 40 mins a day, and 1 hour and a half on weekends, still no big difference.
Working certain muscles on a regular basis builds muscle which burns the fat from those areas (and elsewhere too). Good food, protein and a regular exercise routine will help you lose weight.
there's nothing natural with eating pills to loose weight. It's all about workout and diet, and there's no way to get away from that.

HOW TO LOSE FAT
1) Avoid high GI foods (they trigger fat storage)
2) Eat frequent, nutrient dense meals (every 3 hours) - include a protein source with each meal
3) Follow the nutrition plan from the "Fat Loss Customized" program (I can't provide a meal plan here)

This exercise will develop the oblique muscles, but if you want to get rid of the fat layer on top of them so you can actually see the obliques, then eat a low fat diet of natural foods, and do some high intensity interval training 3 or 4 times per week for 20 minutes at a time. Forget those low intensity strolls on the treadmill for a hour while you watch TV.

You don't burn fat, or calories in that area. Why would women who wish to loose love handles build muscle there? Diet and any calorie burning cardio will reduce obliques. These people obviously are not qualified to speak to body shaping.

@davidmij Exactly. Spot training NEVER works for fat loss. You want to do full body exercise to build up the metabolic machinery to burn fat ALL THE TIME, not just when you're working out. You also need to take a serious look at your diet. Cut out the empty calories. Stick to good fats and protein. lather, rinse, repeat

You cannot 'lose lovehandles' that way. You can build muscle in that area but to lose fat in that area you have to burn fat from your entire body.
In other words.. there's no such thing as "isolated fat loss"!

@ShawnChrisLeoSmithy Trust, I get what you're saying about that but what I was trying to say was that building muscle anywhere will replace the fat that was there.... Building muscle means more exercising, so therefore you are losing fat but technically when you gain muscle you also gain "weight" because muscle weighs more than fat. Any form of exercise will get you to lose fat but to lose fat overall you have to run, however you also have to keep a good healthy diet to become healthy.

@anitaatsisteract well if you have a lot of FAT on your stomach, the more muscle you build on your core the more fat you will burn. I do hardcore isolation exercises on my abs and my stomach is small as hell. The muscle caused my whole midsection to shrink.

That is not how you do a windmill. Spot reduction is a myth. That shearing pressure on the knee is not good. The foot should be in-line with the knee, which should be in line with the hip. Nothing you teach in this video is good. Do not do this exercise. look up how to actually do a kettlebell windmill, bent or side press.

Working certain muscles on a regular basis builds muscle which burns the fat from those areas (and elsewhere too). Good food, protein and a regular exercise routine will help you lose weight.
