nice... i have the same year bike... lookin for an exhaust (shorty cuz they r cool),,,, wondering if you wouldnt mind givin me some details on urs... wat type of bike is that m4 actally made for and what mods did u do to make it fit??? any fuel mapping involved? givin that u made 2 different cans fit, would u say you could make an akro shorty fit??? a reply would b greatly appreciated...
@bl00mz As with any mod that tampers with the flow of air or exhaust on an engine, it is highly recommended that re-mapping be accomplished so you do not find yourself outside the target A/F ratio and end up damaging your engine. And besides that, who wouldn’t want more HP?!
Also, I have these cans for sale if you are interested.
@maddoxjsph--->> THANX! got a few more questions tho... would u recommend Bazzaz or a PC.V(5)? u seem to kno something about something so i figured id ask... also... how much u askin for each? does it loose low end torque wit a shorty like that?
I have a bazzaz w/self tune and love it, but the PC5 seems better, esp with "auto tune" instead of "self tune."
In theory you should lose some torque. I do not know what these cans have done because I have not even rode on them. I gave up on the R6 Tail project I was working so took some vids and trying to sell everything. $200 shipped for the M4 and $250 shipped for the MGP.
@bl00mz this m4 pipe was for a gsxr 750, and the Hotbodies MGP pipe was for a newer r6. Both of their ID were sufficient for the application so i just welded them to the stock midpipe right behind the O2 sensor bung. I have seen the akrapovic shorty cans in this same application.
sent u a msg wit ma info.... interested in the MGP... lemme kno.

@bl00mz I am no expert at all.
