I noticed that you said that you needed a shield of some sort to protect yourself from projectiles in this video. You probably know this by now, but you can get Pretty Flies from slot machines and they protect you from projectiles, so blowing them up at first sight isn't always the best thing you can do.

@Northernlion hey a tip i always test on every kind agame liek this is, only if enemy bullets hit your BODY you take damage wich means dont worry about your head, the hanged man made your body smaller wich makes it harder to get hit on.. u might know this by now.. but hope it helps :)

Again, you are not killing the hiding skulls in the cave level of the basement correctly. Dont do this in range out of range BS. Its simple, they hide under the skull when you shoot them. When you stop attacking, after a couple seconds, they will come back out of hiding. You can then hit them a few times, and dodge their shots.

Cain's nearly impossible to get, and for great reason. He's pretty much the most powerful character in the game next to Judas. Only reason I got to play as him is cause I lucked out and got a buck from the slot machine.

tip for the dark rocks, not only will they be a darker shade than the other rocks but they will also have a sorta cross lookin mark on them. ussually on the top right corner.

In general it's a bad idea to look for secret rooms unless you either have a lot of bombs to burn (at least 10). They don't fill holes or anything like that: they're essentially random. The first few times you tried that was just good luck.

Also, on those guys that ripped you up around 17:50, focus on keeping them out of reach and just spray and pray. Since they go down quickly after the first time, once you have them all going down quickly you can start actually aiming at a pile to destroy it.

I think the reason you aren't finding the secret rooms in most of your spots are because the spots you sometimes think are it are 4 rooms together, and I don't think rooms would be like that. Just a thought.

I do recommend backing up your save files, that's my point. I was devastated to find my save file back to zero, I had nothing left of those 7h spent on the game. Luckily this one hour brought me back to almost that old save.

Well, in roughly one hour (4 playthroughs) I managed to get Maggy, Judas, and about 34 items (20 less than before) 52 coins (damnit :P) and 1 mom kill and I'm backning up (backing up, backing up) all my so.sol files after every exit so the deleted saves (for whatever reason possible now, even because of the game update save deletion I had) Either I was really lucky and or lucky/skilled to almost get back to my old save file (7h playtime) this quickly... O_o

that shield you were talking about exists, it's called halo of flies. You get two flies circling around your character and any projectiles that hit them don't hurt you. It's a lifesaver in rooms with tons of projectiles.

Quick tip, straight from the wiki: Secret rooms are usually adjacent to 3 or 4 normal rooms, so you can try to bomb the correct side of one of these rooms in order to reveal the entrance. If this doesn't work, there should be another place in the same level with a similar configuration.

what the tarrot card does is is takes away your body and gives you the ability to float, i dont know if it affects your health or if it is permanent for the only times i have used it is when i had 1/2 heart left and died immediatley after using, i do know it lets you float over gaps, tho not over enemies. hope this has been useful :)

Also two things - The Hanged Man makes you float over all obstacles. And IMPORTANT: The skullturrets don't work on range, if you're hitting them with tears, even while in range, they will NEVER pop up. You just need to NOT shoot them for a short time!
