true indeed the first time i heard it was in '99 on pete rock & marley marl's future flavaz show that used to come on here in new york city every sunday nights.
i still got the original cassette with this instrumental on it that joc gave me in 96... spinna added some sound effects on this joint but overall produced by joc max... i love me some DJ Spinna shit though!! New Basement Khemist with production from DJ Spinna and Joc Max is in the works RIGHT NOW!! hold ya heads fam!! it's coming!! J Lee (1/3 of the Basement Khemist
@aaaberrr I know the hommie personally. that is a Joc Max banger. actually if you look at any of spinnas work under the dome cracker name joc max is more than likely 2 at least be part owner of the track! Stakes iz high De La Soul another world Talib & Mos Def Braggin rights J-Live etc etc etc, dome cracker (JOC MAX!).
This song is actually from the Basement Khemist shelved album when they were signed to Elektra records. Prolly made back in like 95 or 96....released in 99. I would give my left nut to hear that album....pause.... just sayin.
