  • July 2007... You say, "Internet is everywhere!!"

I say, "If you need to sit in that room to be online then the internet is not everywhere".

  • Building of subdivisions in Baguio must be stopped!!!!!!The only means to preserve our trees and green mountains.

  • 3 hours trip to baguio from manila soon, yoooohoooooo check out

    /watch?v=ZjdVuAuf1wA&feature=feedwll&list=WL

  • Before, when walking in session road. The road is so quiet and little people. It's like you know everyone in the city (small world). Now, All of the people around you are strangers. xD. I want Baguio back as it was before :(

  • Hi ask Lang MEron ba camp site in Baguio area or somewhere ?

  • baguio is very populated what happened? too much people from diff parts na hey baguio wake up do something preserve nyo naman ang syudad natin i miss the old abanao st ngayon overpass nakakasakal palengke grabe not the same.

  • i love baguio City

  • First: NICE VIDEO!!! NICE!!!

SECOND: "Baguio Airport" is actually called "LOAKAN AIRPORT.

THIRD: Texas Instruments is not a campus. It is a corporation that makes micro chips and their Baguio Site is actually their main factory in APAC.

    PEACE!

  • but now there are houses every where, i did not see even a single flower in the street, johnhay is like green to brown and the landscape is not that spectacular the way it is used to. i think the mayors, governors? who handle baguio for the last 12 years was so corrupt and irresponsible

  • i missed baguio the way it used to way back 1996- 98. u can see flowers every where, every corner of the city is decorated with flowers, john hay is so green; trees are so abundant; landscape is so amazing, and the city is not that populated.

  • dami ng squatter sa baguio. putcha.

  • stupid people from the lowlands those who litter, shit anywhere, pollute and disgrace Baguio go back from where you came from!!!we don't need you!!

  • this is not a reliable video 4 baguio..ung central part lang pinakita at hindi lang un ang baguio..

u said that u stayed for several days..tapos sa sm ka lang pumunta???u didn't even come close to baguio cathedral..ur videos are just overviews..so how can u see the 'REAL' BAGUIO..

try going to Camp John Hay, PMA, BENCAB Museum, Forest House, Oh My Gulay, kafe klatsch, Cafe Will, ..............................try some research before going to the place and capturing videos..

  • @1127pia while you have very nice suggestions of places to visit, i think this wasn't made to be THE OFFICIAL video to "reliably" showcase Baguio. this is more of a video of the uploader's experience there. so who are you to tell when to capture videos? seriously, you could have suggested in a humble way so to have saved you from bad impression.

  • @mybflovesbass good for you

  • muslims are violent people and law breakers

they should return where the y came from

    and where they belong

    "ANG MUSLIM MATATAPANG KAPAG MARAMI"

  • @joepalso Many violent crimes committed in the name of Christianity also. There are extremists in all religions, but most people want to live their lives in peace. Silly comments designed to incite religious hatred don't help.

  • BAGUIO need to start a CAMPAIGN to RE-PLANT all of the pine trees that they cut down. I was so disappointed when I went back home. it wasn't the same city that I remember as a child...take back the city and plant those trees.

  • @jayzcc83 Great idea! Maybe you can come and help on your next visit? The local government hands out free seedlings periodically, and we have a tree planting campaign every year that could use some support.

  • @jayzcc83 YES po ako dyan.

  • good baguio

  • too bad....baguio now is infested with muslim terrorist

  • @sgtjoe2008 They're not terrorists. They are the civilians from Mindanao who moved because of the war. Not Muslims are terrorists. Geez, man it's like saying Filipinos are maids...

  • 0:27 past? ur a dick. past is past? haha LOL

  • mag ingat kayo sa market madaming mandurukot dun.....tsk...tsk...tsk...

  • i miss baguio, i was there like a year ago, i had fun strolling around baguio....overpopulated though...

  • i meant terrorism...

  • someday those new generation of muslims who were and will be born in baguio will claim that baguio is theirs..the government allowed mosque in baguio and thats the start of terrorist someday in baguio.

  • @inayan100 fuck you ya kalb

How do I know? I'm an Igorot! :D

  • even though some critics say baguio is over populated, u can still smell the pine breeze in some places

i'm proud to be a resident here missing baguio so much..

tnx for the upload but u did'nt video pma, burnham, lourdes atbp :-)

  • @ray2nyt baguio is 1000x better than manila???? lol. kasi s tondo, quiapo at sa pangit n lugar k lang ata napunta sa manila. try mo sa iba hahaha

  • @babyfaceassassin21 Nature and culture-wise, we're much better I believe

  • wow thanks for the upload u stayed in hotel veniz?

  • ang sarap uli bag bakasyon sa baguio i've been there for 1month and 1 week, nakaka miss talaga ung lamig lamig ng baguio..

  • sucks

  • @thewho186.... that comes from ur mouth?you're the one!

  • I'm one of the lucky man who can say the best time to live in Baguio City ( MY BIRTHPLACE) was during the 1970s and early 1980s. Today ? Baguio is no longer the beautiful city i grow up with. Too much Commecialization and POLLUTION.... Really sad that the new generation will never see the baguio city i saw during my childhood years.

  • @bndct518 you are right at sa dami na ng mga muslim ngayon dito??? darating din ang panahon magiging parang Manila na rin to puno ng mga kawatan at magiging basura sa kadumihan....

  • @bndct518 Are you familiar of the Henry family or Toots Soberano from Baguio or Bingbong from the 70's

  • @dnnylee G'day dinnylee, sorry , don't know the names you're asking, left baguio city in 199o just after the earthquake,

  • @bndct518 Thank for replying God bless Baguio

  • man, i loved the cool environment of baguio...i just hope that the government of the philippines will take better care of its land... T_T

  • @joashjoash2 true that.

  • Tooked me 2-3 weeks to memorize Baguio when I was only 8 years old. *sigh*

  • bohol beter

  • @rrugacishqiptare Fuck Bohol, Fuck southern Philippines. LUZON is the BEST :D

  • @filipinaLuella why ... we are all filipino so mging proud tau na mganda ang plipinas

  • I love the video, but yes it was too short, hopefully you can do another video around baguio it self. the native, the culture Etc. thanks

  • philippines is better than us

  • I love baguio...Compared to many other parts of the Philippines, It wins my vote in cleanliness, fairly great traffic flow, Hospitality and Above all clean air and decent temperatures

  • @pinoy4kev with earthquake too and landslides

  • I hope you guys can visit our channel, we recently uploaded our documentary on Baguio's history. Thanks.

  • Hi there everyone im going to baguio soon and i need to know where in the city is the best place to buy cheap marajuana (cannabis) i heard its everywhere in the philipines !!!! looking forward to trying it !! also outside of baguio what is the best place in philipines to buy drugs mainly cannabis from thanks a lot !!!

  • Baguio is always going to be home. Took my children home for the first time in 2006 - they love it. Not quite the place I grew up in, missed the quietness, cleanliness and it was not over populated... but it's always going to be home.

  • Lovely Little Baguio.

Come on to be fair ..... most of the time it's beautiful sunshine in the Phils.

Most places are familiar, been there.

    I love Baguio.

    Great video. Well done.

  • vendors everywhere! garbage everywhere! parks and sidewalks are public markets! fuck the city government of baguio the mayor doping nothing!

  • Excellent video. Well shot and edited. I hope there are/will be from this source.

  • I was saddened the last time we went to Baguio, there were very little trees left and less greenery too. Baguio is overpopulated .

  • @MANILABOY6631 I know lots of lowlanders come to our Baguio to live... *sigh* I really love my Baguio

  • @MANILABOY6631

    I agree........

  • Human Eye

Could you tell me about Baguio City, Minila . How much do they cost to live, How Much is a apartment to rent? How much is a home to buy? I got $22,000.

back payment from Social Security and $778. a month. That is nothing in the U.S.A. to live on, the back money will be gone in 6 monthes and then homelessness with $2500. a month rent for apartment so I need to leave U.S.A. for cheaper place. for retirement with cancer.

    Thank You for information.

  • baguio city is a nice place to stay, search the internet if you're interested. But i'm sure you will love it.

  • i suggest you stay in Baguio city..it is such a cooler place and has friendlier atmosphere so is with the locals..your monthly SS is enough to pay for a nice apartment, food supply, and other expenses..$778, that's about Php35,000 ..its more than enough for a month.good luck and stay safe (don't just trust anybody ok)!!

  • as far as i read in some ads the rent is 100USD to 200USd...300USD for the food is enough budget for one month....the house in lot would be 20,000USD up...

  • @TheLarbacmc

You can buy a condo with 22,000 dollars

and your monthly SSS pension is so much to spend on cost of living......its so cheap to live there.People are very kind.Nice wheather.International standard of education.

Or ... with your 778 Pension you can rent an apartment and can live to sustain you for your food..I am not kidding especially if you are frugal or trifty to spend your money.

    that is so much already..

  • you can find apt. for $250per month plus or minus depending on the way you prefer and $10 per day for food is morethan enough even lesser if cook ur own food.

  • It's "so are you" and "pine trees" not "fine trees". Dude, sadly you missed the tourist spots of Baguio. Also, it would have been way better if the video was shot during a clear sunny day but you won't have control over the weather so it's understood.Should've emphasized more on the parks and less downtown. The engineering and architectural design of the plaza is terrible, not to mention the traffic conditions. The only good thing about Session road is that everything you need is there.

  • It looks dirty.... sorry.

  • so as you are

  • same thing in downtown manhattan...dirty.

  • My mothers maiden name is Baguio, she is from the Philippines of course

  • i love baguio. lived there for 8 years.

  • thanks for sharing your video. there is only one baguio city in the whole wide world.

SM and center mall are additions to the character of baguio. i go to sm to eat and shop and center mall for bowling. i saw some people doing taekwondo or something also. its all good depends on ones taste and interest.

baguio city will always be baguio city... mabuhay...

  • well well wat r u trying to say? yes phil. is not as rich as USA..we still have corruption and im soo not proud of that..but please don't say that there are prostitutes in every corner because thats where u got it wrong..there are places wer prostituion is high..juz like the US..u have las vegas..and new orleans (especially mardi gras)

  • Shows how ignorant you are. By the way, its poorly "run," not ran - that's in the present tense. Where did you get your "toilet paper" diploma, you can't even spell.

  • Totally agree - country that has no standards. Perhaps because of the people who run it!

Bunch of corrupt bandits starting from barangay captain to president!

  • if you have never been there you should just prob keep your mouth shut it may not be the states or anything like that but people are very proud of there country so your remarks could be hurtful

  • TroyBilt007, ive been to many cities in the Philippines and Baguio is one of them, your right in saying that they are poorly ran but as for prostitutes on every corner and in every bar if you go looking for them what do you expect.

  • From the look of the balcony view, looks like you stayed at Hotel Veniz..man, Baguio is so crowded now

  • hey people!! if u r people but i think u r not a human kind u crazy idiot,. if u don't have non sense to say you better shat off your fuck'n big mouth!!!!

  • my cousins[3] live in baguio mainly because both my parents live in the phillipines

  • i have seen baguio city nowadays...sad to say pumapangit na ang baguio.....please make baguio city MORE BEAUTIFUL.....thanx

  • practically half of the flip population are FIL CHIS

  • Great vid.

  • fuck you. stupid white ppl

  • Yeah, I was in Baguio back in college. Love that place.

I mean, I did not come from there pero I still wish to see the same Baguio I used to love. Don't cut any more trees, please.

  • i'm living here in makati but my hometown was baguio, the last tym i visit there was May 2009, some places remain to be amazing specially the weather but i see some place which is very disgusting along magsay2 road, around public market and session road as well, its very smelly and all trash are everywhere, public market of baguio is almost the same at quiapo divisoria, grabe ang baho! babaliktad ang sikmura mo sa subrang baho, lalo na pag ka umuulan, ang itim-itim na tubig dumdloy sa kalsd...

  • a few cluster bombs in the downtown market will solve the population problem

  • I am moving there for 2 years and this video helped a lot thank you! :)

  • baguio is 1000X better than manila.

Sewage treatment plant.

  • Hi HumanEye, yeah ive been to Baguio and many other places in the Philippines as i am married to a filipina, when your filming from the hotel balcony am i right in thinking that the hotel is the hotel Beniz.

  • I seen this comment and noticed you said ur married to a filipina. Just asking if the stereotypes are true about them always being such a loving and devoted partner? I want to date a filipina and my filipina friend beth is setting me up with her sister lol Just wondering if you think itd go the distance cause i really want it to. Im quite a loving and caring guy so is that what they look for?

  • i worked in baguio for 3 years. everybody hates the months of june, july and august because it always rains. but me thats my favorite period. that's when the pine trees bloom and the whole city smells like pine. makes you want to make love and sleep the whole day. i love baguio forever.

  • Yaw Yan short for saYaw ng kamataYan or dance of death is the philippine kickboxing.promote this fma so it get more popular in our country.

  • The Philippines is a beautiful country with friendly people. I went to Baguio City, Metro Manila, and Boracay...I can honestly say that's the BEST beach I have ever seen in my life! I was there a few years ago and loved it a lot, by the way I'm Salvadoran.

  • YOU ARE RIGHT!!:]]

  • In my opinion. I think the government should have Local buses in every cities instead of jeepneys. They make the philippines look so untidy.

  • fuck off dude, jeepneys are cool

  • AHH! Lucky you! I visited July 2006 and it was RAINING! A waste of my 3 day vacation there :[.

  • I miss going to Baguio AT Pilipinas.

  • is it always drizzling if not raining in Baguio? hindi ba mahirap yon, lagi ka na lang nakapayong.

  • did you stay in Hotel Veniz?

  • lots of white lady der and ghost,,mananggal etc.

    lol

  • ulol!! walang mananananggal kaya!! white lady and ghosts lang..

  • LOL,,may Briney Spears jan, at manananggal,bonti tapos anaconda..LOL

At times of tragedy, the family dog might also have been sacrificed to appease the spirits, and to assign the soul of the dog to guard the spirits of the living family members.(bing dawang) JUST A LITTLE BACKGROUND.HAPPY 100TH YEAR TO BAGUIO CITY!

  • Invest in Philippine real estate because prices in Metro Manila are inexpensive compared to other major cities around the world.
