I personally thing there should be no third Party characters at all in in the next Super Smash Brothers Game, this is after all Super Smash Brothers a purley nintendo made game not Ninteno vs capcom, Nintendo should just stick to there own creations, and concentrate on having characters such as Ridley, K-Rool and Black Shadow.

If Nintendo makes another Smash game, which is a good possibility, I believe they NEED to add more Mario, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, etc. characters because the game would be SO boring if it was:

I do think a lot of those characters would be cool to play as in a SSB game, but

A) I don't think they would have that many non-Nintendo characters.

B) A lot of those characters, while other characters from the same franchise as them are already in Brawl, would just be repetitive if they were added. Ex: Daisy, Knuckles

C) Some of them, like Dr. Mario and Pichu, were already excluded in SSBB. So why would they be back in the next game?

there will be a smash bros 4, and guess what characters will join? not only will the clones return, but megaman, midna, dark samus, and galaxy knight (kirby superstar ultra) join, along with skin customizer so that way, you can customize what the character AND attack colors are, in other words, mario can throw black fireballs, link can look like shadow link (completely black), and sonic can look like shadow! the down side is, it will be released worldwide in summer 2011...
