My boyhood home was across the street from this tragedy! (1950-1980.) I attended grade school there.
I notice now that the entire 2700 block of Catherine st has been demolished...not one house remains!
If any one can share info regarding why the entire block was leveled and when..(was i releated to the fire?).I WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATIVE. Thanks.....john

I remember this fire. But I don't remember if they caught the arsonist.
