@justwant2bhappy I think they tighten some of the muscles,but mostly skin. I'm not happy with my mini lift. I should have had a full face lift, because I still have some scarring from the poorly done mini lift.

There is a web sight I look at where people post their before and after pictures. Some people have really been messed up. That is why I am so afraid of having anything done.

@14kruitben I had full rhinoplasty..I had the bridge chiseled done and the tip redefined..I do like my nose..the DR, who performed the rhinoplasty has retired..Your best bet is to see a DR, who is a Rhinospecialist and who has performed 1,000's of nose jobs...You don't want to end up with a messed up nose....
@Ahhapictures Okay I googled a little bit on the internet and saw Doctor kim. He has a practice in Beverly Hills,CA. And he is well recommend and an official borderedfied sugeron. I live in Holland and everything here is also good in America you have to pay your own insure but not here i just turned 18 and I think I'm old enough to have a nose job now. But I don't know where should I just go to a doctor in Europe we have good ones too or go to America. Btw: Sorry for my bad English.

You then went in to have it fixed and I'm supposing that this video shows the repair work. If that's the case, the surgeon has now cut behind your ears. Why did he do that. @goofydog2 he has to cut behind the ears too pull the skin back enough to support the mini lift, because I had a neck lift, which pulled the skin up from under my chin..It tighten better and cost the same for a mini lift and neck lift...

@vitC4life the scars were improved after the revision, but you can still see some stretching going on. I want do laser on them at this time...I will let them heal and grow strong for the next few yrs..I wear some cover up on the area now. I don't really like traditional haircuts on me..I'd rather have long hair and now I'm growing it out like Justin Beiber.
@Ahhapictures yeah they should have done the incision/excision behind the hair line...they did the same to my mother, in front of her hair line. i guess why you feel longer hair suits you better to hide the scars? i would advise growing your back hair longer slightly then the front so it won't look lady like as in the video. the justin beiber hair style screams trying to hard to be young looking.

@justmelteo I don't do any facial exercises. I don't think facial exercises are going to help. As you get older your skin stretches and you can't tighten the skin back back muscles exercises. The healing is not painful really, not bad at all. It just looks like it is painful, but that is the minor issue. The big issue is affording the cost and hoping that you heal well.
@rnoel1983 when I turned 40, I had a mini face lift. The skin pulled apart, so I had a revision, which the surgeon went much deeper to pull the tissue. I'm now 43 and the revision worked very well.

age 42 for a male to be having a facelift is way too young. The first lift is usually the best with diminshing results with further procedures. Should have stuck with fillers and laser touch ups....you are gonna be looking chinese by early to mid 50's
