you have to be able to get your clean voice that high and when you are able to do that it just comes naturally in forced-crack screaming.

Instead of beefing up the highs like, say, Mitch Lucker or Phil Bozeman, he just pushes his tongue up to cut all the lower sounds out so that all that comes through it the very highest. Those highs are there when you do that anyways, but you just don't notice because of the way harsh vocals work.
