i lost my grandma when i was in the early twenties she went back to DHARMAPURI-SALEM in india.when i was seven just going to school and died at old age at her kampung called saliampatty in dharmapuri.

my nephews and nieces are so lucky to have my mother at 86 now in malaysia, my mother is great grand mother she is blessed with many grand-children and great grand childen. god bles her always.

When I went to visit my grandma,after I returned from US,I found her cooking so many dishes,I asked her "paatti why r u straining so much",her reply was "I have been waiting for you like Padmini in that song as to when my grand daughter would come to see me,this is not at all a strain".Instantly my eyes filled with tears she passed away last sunday on Feb 13 2011.Tears are rolling down my cheeks as I type this. I am sure she knows how much we miss her. She was the cutest woman on earth.
