Hi could you help me? I have no idea how CVPiano works. I open it in FL Studio and there's nothing, no presets, no effects, no sound, the keys are grey...
Hi, to my knowledge that is the only sound it has. Some people have had problems with cvpiano not ever working on their computer operating system at all. I did load it on an old laptop once and it didn't work right or sound right at all.
@theDracoIX I haven't played with all the controls yet, but I know that the most important thing to do when you set it up is to set the Effect 4 level to 0. This will get rid of the horrible clunking sound.
I assume you want to use it as a vst plugin. If so after you have instaled the stand alone version you then need to copy and paste the cvpiano dll file into your vst plugin folder for it to work. People have had trouble with the cvpiano with different windows xp service pack versions and I have had trouble with using it with vista on my laptop. Works okay on my desktop with my version of xp though. I hope this helps, all the best Paul
Hmm, agreed, and the bass notes cut off too quickly compared with a real piano. Interesting you use the word plastic. I often describe digital pianos as having a plastic like quality to my friends. I have a Roland VG-99 modelling guitar system which is amazing. However, there is still somehting about it that like you say sounds plastic like and too perfect.
Yes with songs that use a lot of sustain peddal you don't notice the bass notes short decay time at all really. It's when you do say rock and roll left hand bass lines that it is more noticable. Mind you some people might quite like that.
This is really hard to find on the internet and installing was even more difficult, but it was worth all this trouble. The sound is excellent. It sounds more realistic than a £40 commercial product I tried.
Please post the tabs!

How on earth did you get cvpiano to sound that good? I tried it out and it sounds pretty bad... the configuration looks way too complicated.
Is there a preset or something you can upload? Because, it sounds awful on my system.

I also have CVPiano but the middle-lower keys sound somewhat plastic to me. Otherwise, it's the composer that makes this piece.

I actually did notice that the notes cut off quickly. If I had a sustain pedal on me, it might help avoid that. Very unsure though.

@ArzeiX, this thing has just ONE sample....

sounds nice.. does anybody knows how many samples (actual hits) contains this vst?
i hope that every note has own sample, or better, each key has more than one sample for velocity changes..

sounds a bit thin, perhaps it's the recording?

Very nice.
I've just downloaded it but, as usual I have got to install SP2 to get it working.
If you haven't tried it yet, then grab yourself a copy of..'Yanleo Accentor'.
Its free and is sampled from a Steinway and sounds great.
50 meg download, 200 installed but you'll need VST host etc as its a dll file!
Good luck and cheers.
