  • I remember hearing her sing this at the Youth Rally for Life and coming home to look her up on youtube, I just had to hear it again! She has such a beautiful voice, such God-given talent!

  • I got to hear her the night before the rally, and again at the mass-she is so incredible! So inspiring, I hope she's there again(just a few more days!!!)

  • Beautiful!

  • was at WYD but can't believe I missed this :/ still the whole week made such an unforgettable and inspirational pilgrimages

  • Thank you 4 uploading

  • Saw her sing this at WYD 2011 Madrid! Definitely one of the highlights of my pilgrimage!

  • AHHH, I remember hearing Danielle sing this at the Youth Rally earlier this year. I nearly cried! SO beautiful! <3

  • @TheTomaChup were you in DC? i was sitting waaay up at the top, and even though my group was really immature, they still were silent and reverent and this was one of their favorite parts. this song is amazing, and was a very powerful part of the rally!

  • I heard her for the first time this past week at WYD 2011 in Madrid <3

  • @seg1014 me too at the sports arena!!!!

  • @John2413h YES!!! Love and Life definitely had a lot to offer :-)

  • @seg1014 Me too. Well, a month ago now.

  • wow.

  • I'm not religious but this song is still powerful to hear, even for me. Haunting.

  • i first heard her at a Tony Melendez Concert & i got goosbumps all over! Then i heard her the next day when i went to the Youth Rally/Mass

  • After seeing her sing this song at the March for Life as broadcast by EWTN, I had to go to iTunes and buy all her music. She is awesome and has a beautiful voice.

  • Thank you for posting this. This song is on my Good Friday playlist. If you can--post A Mother's Song--the Crucifixion from Mary's perspective, very Pieta. In iTunes, I added to the title of the song: REQUIRES KLEENEX

  • 1. I love this because it sounds so Celtic.

    2. Does anyone know the story behind this song? Does she have an explanation of it somewhere? She said at the youth rally that the song is about a woman who has abortion, but I'm not sure what she meant.

  • @lovencare62 That doesn't answer my question. Danielle Rose said at the March for Life youth rally (after singing this song) that it is about a woman who has an abortion. I'd like to know what she meant.

  • This is beautiful!!!!

  • I just heard this on EWTN for the Mass for Life before the March. I had never heard of her but her voice is so beautiful! The youth have definitely heard of her because a lot of them cheered when she was introduced. I can't wait to hear her Mysteries CD! I love the rosary and love to find new ways to explore its power.

  • @dovie2blue I was at the Mass for Life and I heard her and i thought this song was amazing! I hadn't heard of her before but now I definitely can't wait to listen to her cd too!

  • @HannyBananny455 me too! this song was and is amazing; i recorded the whole thing.

    go babies!! :)

  • @HannyBananny455 Did they tell you guys about how many people attended the March? I haven't heard a count yet and even EWTN didn't guess except in the hundreds of thousands. I want photos and a count! How far did you have to travel? Our Cardinal celebrated the Vigil Mass but there was no publicity about it...He hasn't done much about the mega-Planned Parenthood that is about 2 miles from his office...Love him as a Cardinal but he's really not an activist type.

  • @dovie2blue I think roughly 300,000 people attended the March. I came from Nashville, TN!

  • I saw Danielle Rose this evening and this song was so sweet and touching. Sometimes I forget that it was a rose's thorns that pierced our Lord's head. How poetic, as it is said that a rose is a symbol of purity and immulate souls. His own mother's symbol is that of a rose, and that her own heart was peirced as she had to watch her son suffer and die.
