The Ti roll cage is pretty recent, and was used at MRL.

The thing on the side is two pieces of high density plastic with a wire between it, its supposed to prevent flipping on the sides. Now days those pieces have been perfected and there is a titanium role cage so it will never be flipped on its back(it also happened to take all the 100lb pneumatic hammers in the arena could dish out).

Not sure about the Ti roll cage. The only one that has seen battle with ziggy was a steel roll cage. I do recall from a conversation with Billy that he had a Ti roll cage in the works.

In my opinion, I initially thought the roll cage was a little clunky. I was amazed at its effectiveness in the match... like a weeble.

Might have been anti-spinbot - hit the stuff on the outside to slow the spin down to reduce any real damage. Didn't do a thing against this guy though. (o: Good driving, Ziggy!
