i may be wrong, but curious to know, avastin is a company and Bevacizumab is the name of the drug, right??

Avastin is the brand name of the drug which "scientific name", also called International Nonproprietray Name INN, is Bevacizumab.
The company is Genentech which is part of the big pharma Roche - Hoffmann-Laroche, based in Switzerland.
