Video was good. I really liked the beginning with the clips sort of transparent on the ship. It was a really cool effect. It's not really a teaser like I thought for the 2009 movie, but it is a nice overview of the history. I was a little sad with the direct copy of the first contact trailer, but like I said, the original stuff was awesome. Nice job!

If Picard was able to go back in time to any point, do you think (within Generations) that he would simply just put Soran into custody when he was first found on the Amagosa Observatory? That way Kirk would still be alive (and would certainly please William Shatner). It is certainly one way to end the film in such a way that Paramount would have lost a lot of money from! ha ha! On the other hand the infamous Picard quote on 'time' would not have been said...
I thought the montage of the ST:TOS crew from the series and first 6 films was AWESOME! And I for one didn't mind the music at all. Star Trek is not just a tv series. It's a story wich is a part of our history and our culture. Like it or not everybody know this story a bit. We must thank the actors and the creators for it.

The new movie is disgrace. 6 Billion dead, you don´t care, Spocks mother dies, you don´t feel anything but a special effect rush.
That is when jews take over the making of movies completely. The movies become emotionless, without any style and art. They become nothing special.
Even the military gets its benifit. They should have put a slogan at the beginning and the end of that movie. "Join the military" Look how they talk.

Oh, yeah, emotionless. I'm sure it looked very emotionless when Spock had to leave the bridge right after he finished his log recording?? And when he had to give command to Kirk because he was emotionally compromised? The new movie was very emotional, a blind man can see that!

Saw the movie. George Kirk , the father of James Kirks save some lives aboard the USS Kelvin before its blows up. He then dies and Kirk has a hatred for StarFleet.

Saw the movie. The Romulans came back in time to go after Mr. Spock. Excellent Movie. Also, one of the Original cast members dies but comes back at the end.

Wow. Star trek 2009 is better in visuals. I couldnt take anymore of the green screen and funny looking people in the old ones.

Awesome! Freak'n Awesome! I give this video a Warp5... um, I mean, 5 Stars!!! I like the ST:TMP intros of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Dekker and Ilea...especially the Kirk one with the vertical door lifting up for the reveal.

Between the previews and the latest TV spot that proclaims this aint your fathers trek, I have come to the painful conclusion that the new Star Trek movie is being aimed at the brainless Fast and Furious crowd. What a sad ending to once great franchise.

since your all star trek fans i hope u will be able to help me. in star trek generations the sun is destroyed and creates a level 12 shockwave and the enterprise crew are killed cos they are stranded on the planet by the kingons but picard is saved cos hes in the nexus,and in there guinen explains that in the nexus he can go anywhere so he goes back till just b4 the sun is destroyed and saves the day.But does that mean he remains in the nexus for the rest of his life cos he never left it

He did leave the Nexus. He left it at the time before the shockwave hit the planet and stopped the bad dude from destroying all of it.

If Picard was able to go back in time to any point, do you think (within Generations) that he would simply just put Soran into custody when he was first found on the Amagosa Observatory? That way Kirk would still be alive (and would certainly please William Shatner). It is certainly one way to end the film in such a way that Paramount would have lost a lot of money from! ha ha! On the other hand the infamous Picard quote on 'time' would not have been said...

I thought the montage of the ST:TOS crew from the series and first 6 films was AWESOME! And I for one didn't mind the music at all. I'm impressed with the longevity of Star Trek; its amazing how its endured for the past 40 yrs! No other franchise with the exception of James Bond has lasted this long! Speaks well of a series! And who knows? With JJ Abrams installment, we may see a whole new (next? lol) generation of stories and fans! Live Long and Prosper! _\\//

lol the TOS ship we all love and the NCC-1701A actualy share a few things in common lol but the TOS ship we all know shares nothin in common with JJs ship since the only thing i think JJs ship is more of a fusion of is the NCC-1701 A and the official movie ship.
