  • It made me wanna dance!!! Great!!

  • Where did you get all of your backtracks? It sounds really good. Is that a software or your creation?

    Nice impros... ^^

  • nice. david gilmour fan?

  • Hey Kassad u still around man?

  • great playing i want to learn that song now. American strats are bomb!

  • Very, very good... great talent. Congratulations from Brazil.

  • très beaux son a la clapton, franchement sa fait du bien d'entendre ça.

  • I still follow you around the Tube. Is this one of your first videos? Becasue this camera is a lot hazier, but I still love the music and the improvisation is just trippy! Man, you need to go and get sponsored!

    Again,

    Joey

  • you're guitar sounds great man, you improv well too. good job.

  • I like it!

  • it's a clapton i shoot the sheriff...i don't like this song i prefere blues or reggae not fusion, but very nice guitar, good sound! ;)

  • Man, I love jammin on that tune. Where did you get the background music and is there any way i could get a copy of it? I always jam to the "crossroads 2004" version on DVD, but it would be nice not to have Clapton's solo so i could improvise. Your chops and phrasing are awesome, by the way.

  • thanks mate.

Urls for BT are in my youtube homepage. ;)

  • dam dude. that kicked azz

  • Hey dude, is this an american SERIES stratocaster which has ash bodied and v54s pickups on it?? or is it american deluxe?

  • American serie with ash body and 54 CS pickups

  • is that the 2 or 3 tone sunburst?

  • It "was" a 2 tone sunburst. ;)

  • a little repeative and relaxed i really like a lot of tension in blues or rock riffs but not bad. you had some really cool licks in there man. very original sounding. with some of the licks you played it sounded really fast and and still soulful. i like how contrast minor and pentanoic very nicely. not bad but a little repetative and looses feeling sometimes. 59 seconds and on is the best in my opinion. keep it up

  • thanks mate !

Exactly what i think about my playing, too repetitive sometimes. I had to work more to enlarge my playing. ;)

  • nice good job

  • Spot on tone, nice restraint.less is more. you are better off with out pedals. Pedals make up for the lack of an amp. A nice rig needs no pedals. A nice- his is and nice amp- his is and some talent his- all you need bro. Play on!

  • Oops... I didn't read the text. Sorry^^

  • What's it for a Strat'?. And what do you use for an amp?

  • He guy, that's really cool! Do you use the Pentatonic scale?

  • hi ! thanks...

    the penta ? i think so... ;)

  • great playing, could you lend me any resources on jamming like that? like how to make all those phrases and stuff like that... any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

  • Play, play, and play again. and listen a lot of music (all styles) and play again, with real people. ;)

  • U should consider entering that King of the Blues competition hosted by Guitar Center and Gibson. Id luv 2 c u win

  • Excellent phrasing!

  • great it's so good to listen to this tune.

personally I jam on songs too but on bass and that's what I prefer

  • Hey man, sounds really good. Blownglass, where did you hear that Clapton used 50 pedals, because I don't think that's the case. After Cream he became quite a minimalist besides occasional uses of the trusty wah.

  • Loved it! Fantastic tone and tasty playing. Outstanding!

  • Sweeeeeet. Incredible Clapton tone, coming straight out of the amp. That amazing. He uses like 50 pedals to get his tone and you did it with an amp. The other guys/gals are right, you should be in a band, sir.

  • thanks for your nice comment. ;)

  • You have to get a band.

  • very nice indeed...

  • beautiful tone...

  • your tone sounds good on utube. how big are your sound files when you upload ?

  • Hmm... I set my recording on 3Mb by minute of video. ;)

  • tasty! one of my favorite songs to jam on... my solo's are half-improv and a lot of stolen clapton licks :P

  • wowowow. man great! hoo. exelent

  • awesome man, ive seen almost all your vids. youre stone cold blues and its beautiful. i'd like to see some other types of stuff from you, like maybe try recording your own rhythm track then soloing over it, or maybe some traditional acoustic blues, or maybe more jazz type playing, i dunno. youre awesome though just wanna see what you do with some other stuff. keep it up

  • Thanks pal. ;)

I got some compositions of my own, i know i need to take some time to made the drums, bass etc...

Maybe it should be one of my good resolution for 2007. ;)

  • HOLY CRAP. you should be in a band!

  • Absolutely great! Do you pic up your tone with a mic from the amp, or with the line out into your pc?

Ich think, your american vintage 62 strat would have done a better jobin this song! It's a bit more punchy! ;-)

  • A mic, a Sure SM58, in front of the amp. ;)

  • Okay, thank you! one more question..directly into your pc, or through a mixer?

  • Directly in the sound card of the PC ;)

  • what is your amp and your tuning pal?i loved the way your strat sounds! plz answer

  • My amp is a vox Valvetronix AD60VT, but i'm gonna change it soon for a real tube amp. ;)

  • excelent l'ami,quoi de mieux qu'une strat,hein?

    bravo et à bientot

  • AMAZING DUDE

  • You shot the sheriff man!

    Feely jam:-)

  • Brilliant guitar work as per usual kassad! who needs clapton ;)

  • Well done. I sincerely hope you can come to Hong Kong for a blues concert.

  • Hey man!! Great to see u doing some reggae(ish) stuff!! Sounding great as allways. Once u get caught by the reggae vibe it´s hard to stop! Bit like the blues.

    Keep on skanking!! hehe

  • tone...tone...tone....you've found what works for you and it sounds awesome bro...

  • Thanks.

I've watched your videos, and i think you find yours !

    Impressive ! ;)

  • You are putting your soul into this music. It's coming through clearly. The Clapton influence is in there, but you are giving it your own voice. That's the mark of a great player!

  • Thanks for your kind comment.

Many people here could feel clapton influence in my play. I never was a big Clapton fan. I have a few records and DVDs, but that's all. Never saw him live for real.

I hate clearly a big part of his career, Phil Collins period.

Maybe it's because i play a lot with his CDs, jamming with his live sessions (Crossroads)

I think Clapton's lives (70's period) are among the bests CDs to jam with.

    So, what's the point ?

Jamming with CDs influence you more than you think

  • You're absolutely right about all of that. You're listening and jamming to a lot of great songs, and it shows.

  • I agree...Very nice playing as usual Kassad62 ! You're the man ! Thanks...I'm actually working hard on my strat...Perhaps one day ! Take care brother !

  • Deadly man! Me n my buddy are big Clapton fans, I could hear some of his influence in your playing before, but I'm glad you did this one. You have feel man!

  • thnaks ! ;)
