Yes, Arctic char are beautiful fish, and great eating. We spend most of the week ends from December 15'th to April 30'th on the ice. We fish Arctic Char from December through March, and perch and whitefish from the beginning of March through April. I also participate in some of the smaller fishing contests. mostly to support the local organizations, and meet new people. It is always fun to win a prize or two as well.
