I swear that I've been through it when I used to live there as a kid. I remember it being somewhat secluded (in a ravine) and eerily quiet and pitch black on the inside. Once I was inside, it felt like I'd never reach the other side and I kept tripping on shit but I never knew what. Probably homeless people. I didn't know that it had a name.

The "Blue Ghost Tunnel" is probably the most frequently visited alleged haunted locations in Niagara. The tunnel was built in 1873 by the Grand Trunk Railway Co. Though it has been long out of use the area is still a popular place to visit. In 1903 there was a train collision about 100m from the tunnel that caused 2 fatalities. Nine years later, in the lock that runs above the tunnel, 2 young boys drowned. This video is a summary of the folklore surrounding the tunnel and the general area.
