  • I miss using the old formula that they had for Ambi (oily skin). Seeing as though the old Ambi was rumored dangerous for African and African Ameri women...I guess that that was the main reason why they changed the formula, also the old stuff had a strange odor. Sooo now the creaters have added a flowery fragrance, which I don't care for, to the new and improved Ambi. Gosh, the old stuff worked wonders, though. It faded insect bite spots, burn spots, sun damage spots...etc... /:( Sad!

  • the lil bumps or "scales" u talkin bout might be a sorta mild allergic reaction to a product u usin that may b too strong iv gotten those before but along with that my skin got burned. or ur products might b over cleanin ur skin a lil try using more gentle products for cleansers dnt use too much with salicylic acids

  • WTF is she talkin about??....i dont see shit on her face.....its as flawless as it gets...shhhhhhhesh!!

  • @mizzchoc10 calm down

  • AMBI fade cream works wonders. I hope you used it :D

  • Oh no hun! Do not use Ambi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was banned; it is actually illegal to sell in parts of Africa as it is known to burn peoples skin. A lot of women of color turned to this product for skin lightening, I think it was common in the 70's or 80's and older women that used it back then, have patches on their skin. This stuff is lethal; and another product called diprizon. Use clinique skin tone corrector. That is what I use it; but I do not have really bad skin.

  • ur skin is great

  • im not sure how many comments that you have gotten on the DuDu Osun soap but i use it too and i have experienced the same thing. especially on my chest. anyway, try putting it in a plastic container with a little water and honey. melt them together so it becomes soft like jello. just use a little piece of it, it will last longer and you wont have those side effects. hope this helps you! love ur channel btw! :)

  • ive only been using ambi fade cream for a little over a week, but im DEFINITELY seeing results already! ive read many reviews &it works for a lot of ppl, bt it breaks some ppl out or it just doesnt work for them. u have nice skin!

  • hope its not the lighting !!! your skin looks good!! is it a result of ambi?

  • I have used that ambi fade cream stuff and please believe me it just does not work AT ALL!!!!!!

  • @Azanbou21 if your skin is really dark you wouldnt get no results and it said it on the box

  • I like your comment about lap top gangsters LMAO

  • I use to use Ambi, the old kind with the less perfume fragrance. I don't perfer the new kind. Now I've been trying coa-coa butter solid by Queen Helene. It smells great and it works with fading dark spots quicker.

  • i know what you mean, my makeup comes out like that too. only in the winter time this happens. a good face scrub would prob help

  • for your black heads on your nose and cheeks, buy biore nose strips. it works EXTREMELY WELL at lifting the black heads away and you can see them on the strip after the removal lol you can get them at walmart kmart and wal greens

  • @tintsap LOL yea i got that southere twang going on

  • Your skin looks amazing...ok promsise last post LOL.

  • @LaBellaBA LOL people tell me that i'm crazy for using all that stuff on my face b/c there is nothing wrong with it

  • Oh you can get it @ Walgreens for about $4.

  • Try Queen Helene Mint Julip face mask for blackheads, it works really well.

  • Girl what acne? your skins great

  • @sstupidssmile trust its no that great LOL

  • I would like to recommend water therapy, (google it). Drink as much water as you can and stay away from sodas and juices. Believe it or not, water will give you a beautiful complexion. Today is my first day using Ambi and honestly I already see the dark circles lighted up around my eyes. it is $4.84 at Wal Mart dorn good investment considering the fact that is costs less than the lunch you will buy tomorrow.

  • @kandice903 wait, you used this for dark circles around your eyes?

    like from not sleeping well?

  • The Ambi Fading Cream does work and it's great. Tip: for fast spot treatment, apply cream the the dark spots as a mask and don't rub in, in about a week they will fade dramatically.

  • i cant remember. but my face has gotten much better

  • Girl, your skin looks amazing!

  • LOL its amazing what the camera can do

  • its scaly cause your face is to dry u have to have a direct balance of moisture and make up hunney

  • LMAO @ "laptop gangsters" lol

but anyways girlie I can tell you exactly why your skin has that "scaly look"

All of these products dry out the skin or speed up cell turnover (sloughing off of dead skin cell layers) so when you're using all these products at once you need a heavy facial moisturizer preferably with spf.

I used all the same products you did and I had the same problems but then I used ROC nightly treatment and my face was so soft & radiant.

  • wow you have beautiful skin

  • you look great i dont see nothing wrong with your skin complection

  • biore is really really really good for acne because of the salicylic acid in it... which basically dries out the acne and it clears up your skin very well.. only problem it's very drying, which is fine coz all you'll need is a moisturizer..

  • Not sure if ur "scales" are gone already but the soap n products used on your face cause over-drying of the skin. You need a skin moisturizer and a PRIMER that can be bought from MAC, Sephora or any beauty retailer. Primer moisturizes skin while absorbing excess moisture and providing a proper base for makeup application. It gives the make up a smoother more even look and especially with eye shadow it makes all make up "pop"! Hope that helps to end "scale" and make up troubles....

  • girl STOP!!! using that awful soap!!!! try raw african black soap (its an earthy brown color) and neutrogena visibly even moisturizer!!!!...try it...

  • Ambi worked for me.

  • hay dont use to much face products it will do more harm then good,

  • I used Ambi fade cream about 15 years ago when I was very self-conscious about the dark circles around my eyes.

Ambi burned my skin and it took weeks for the burn scabs to fall off and months before my natural color came back in certain spots.

I never used fade creams again after that. I dot and blend concealer on top my foundation now.

BTW, you skin looks smooth, even toned and perfectly natural. Until you mentioned it, I didnt think you had any foundation on.

  • The reason you don't get a smooth finish is because of that Dodu soap your using. It burns your skin which makes your skin scaly! It's NOT good for your skin. DISCONTINUE USE NOW!

  • can anybody please tell me,is this product available on london stores??as i ordered it from ebay bt they are taking so mch time,as product is cming from usa,i need it urgently so can u please tell me any on store option????

  • u use ambi and it really works. love it so much

  • u look u dont need that on your face at all

  • u need a non oil based moisturizer, to follow exfoliation.

  • I find that black opal fade gel works the best for me. It's more pricey but it's worth it.

  • I've tried ambi fade cream and it hasn't worked for me.

  • ambi fade cream doesnt work!!!

  • i have a generous amount of acne blemishes on my face and i've been using ambi for about 5 months and i haven't seen much improvement on my spots, but it has even out the rest of my complexion.....if that's at all possible

bottom line: it works for some, but not for others

  • hey girl.. i've been using the ambi fade cream for 6 weeks.. and YES YES YES... it works. and for 5 bucks, its soo worth it!

  • hey does it work o n dark elbows and knees?

  • girrllll, ur skin looks fab, very even skin tone. keep up the good work and the posts. One bit of advice; a little bit of organization goes a long way.

    Keep it up!

  • okay def upset that dude said u need 2 get an education....this is absolutely not an interview 4 no job nor are u tryin impress anybody this is a personal blog 2 the public so go get ur life 2gether and kick rocks fool........

  • um make-up is supposed to be a little bit lighter than your skin tone!!! but your skin looks pretty but also make sure you get under your chin, on your hair line and the bottom half of your cheek!!!

  • You got great skin :) I heard good things about Ambi Fade Cream. One thing that works for me when my skin is dry is using something called ALBA Un-petroleum jelly, I use my regular moisturizer and then apply the ALBA unpetroleum since it helps lock in moisture but it's all natural so it won't clog your pores.

  • yes! yes! yes Ambi works!! i seen results on my face within two days people kept tellin me how they noticed.. i love it!! i use it once or twice a day after i wash my face with a exfoliating scrub and astrengent.. its a great moisterizer and it makes your skin soft.. anyone who has blemishes and has not tried it try AMBI i works!!

  • how old and dark were your acnee scars?

i started using mine yesterday & i havent seen any drastic changes or anything but im giving it 3weeks before i make a judgement.

  • Hows the ambi workin for you? I've heard its good!! I got mines today!!!

  • Get an education; it's this not "dis" and it 's supposed to not "upposed to"

  • LOL whatever twaFAG123

  • one more thing ..i heard good about the palmers succes ultra fade cream as well..

  • lol @ the make up that was too light..but umm yea im ordering the ambi now off ebay..i seen anothers girl channel about ambi..i heard about it..but i will tell u ..&& ur pretty though..&& dnt worry bout the lames say in the comments..ok bye:)

  • i love your twists!!! maan i wish i could find someone to do mine like that

  • did u just say "mines too" ghetto cunt. guess what ....BLOCKED... go be a LAPTOP GANGSTER on someone else's channel. you illiterate fuck

  • immm back chucktaylor you gap mouf bitch

  • aww man, LOL. That's a shame how they do

  • keep them coming

  • all see it when you go out in public idiot. god i hope it spreads

  • Comment removed

  • no why be mad, my complexion is FINE

  • i hope it eats your face away

  • You gotta moisturize your skin before you apply the foundation for a smoother finish.

  • I'm south asian, suffer from dark pigment at corners of my lips, the rest of my skin is fair. I want pigment gone and very interested in buying ambifade. alot say it works but then alot say it doesn't! it also contains hydroquinone which is worrying as it can cause bad side effects. want to know ambi works, is safe and worth buying please? response from other south asian preferable but i'd be happy to hear from other coloured ppl who use ambi. thanks x

  • ambi fade cream work, gurl

  • The reason you have that look with your foundation is because your pores are open when you put the foundation on. You can use a primer before you put on your foundation to close your pores for a smooth application:-D

  • I have been using ambi cocoa butter soap and exfoliating scrub and normal skin fade cream and ambi vitammins for about a month and my hair has groan and nails and my skin is so pretty and i do the scrub once a week and soap twice a day and every body notice that my skin is even and I use it all over not just the dark spots and my face is even so it takes time so don't give up because my nose and face was the same way o and i forgot the ambi moisteriser is the bomb Im very happy !

  • I kinda have the same things as you do going on with my skin. ambi works for SOME people it just depends on which one you skin responds to best. when i was younger i had two dark marks on my cheeks and they are GONE. I used Palmer's Skin succes fade cream(Wal-Mart ) they all all have the same active ingredients but keep doing the lemon/ sugar wash and 500mg of vitamin C. :)

    THANX FOR THE VIDEO!

  • i have used it and still using it but it has worked it hasnt completly cleared it up but the spots are lighter

  • Im latina.. and i need a fade spot cream off the counter .. have you done an update on the ambi? Im thinking about using it.. .do you have any recommendations?

  • Did you ever find how to not have the scaley looking stuff after you applied your makeup?

  • I just bought the Ambi Fade Cream yesterday - I'm a bit confused on how to apply it though..like..confused wether i should use a Q tip or something small to apply it to the dark mark or just smooth it around the mark .. i just dont want the surroundings of the dark mark to lighten up to and have my skin look a mess

  • i suffer with the scaly as well when i apply my foundation and blush i think its from open pores which i have terribly if i find anything i'll keep you posted

  • So for the Ambi, the first few times you try it, it feels weird. But booooy does this product work on me.I literally saw results in less than a week. I really think certainskin types just aren't for this product Ambi.

    I love Ambi great product.

Thank you for the video. :)

  • i agree it works wonders for me people ask me what do you use? i just smile and keep looking fierce!

  • ello, i jsut started usign the ambi fade cream and its black soap too. i will keep u posted on the progress. hope it works for me.

  • I'm using the exfoliating scrub and then the fade cream, it has been working really well girl...and I have only been using it three days! Yes! I have seen a difference since I was a teen I have only used Oxy pads and it worked for me, but it seemes like lately it has only made me get more breakouts then blackheads, I tried the black soap for awhile but it seems liek it dried out my skin. The Ambi seems to be doing great but we'll see. But yeah The fade cream is worth the money.

  • okay i jus start using it today i apply it on early on in the day and i am appling it on before i go to bed...so i want to know are you suppose to feel a tingly feeling..like a buring sensation??? please tell me???

  • NO!!!! stop using that mess . get yourself some porcelana

  • I'm so mad at that color they gave you. Tip: always scout out a black girl/guy at mac. trust me. anyway you can take that right back to the store. you didn't use it. it's obviously wrong. you can exchange it. they'll prob give you a hard time w/o the receipt. where do you live? TEST the product. it should blend in flawlessly

  • i actually did take it back, to be honest i'm not really a big fan of MAC

  • your skin looks wonderful! no makeup wowowow so glad I started with the ambi skincare. i wear too much makeup for work and it broke me out and caused dark spots.

  • nebody can use this cream

they say its for woman of color buh total bull lol

i been usinq it for like a week now

its def. clearinq up the black spots

    i loveee it .

&& the dr. miracle acne system

    cleared up my skin

  • ma cousin uses the ambi fade cream and her face is flawless just give it a littletime. she sees resukts in like five days of using some people it takes two weeks like what the cream say and some takes longer so it depends on ur skin. i use the ambi exfoliating wash to wash ma face. i dont have dark spots or uneveness but the exfoliating is good and it is nowhere near harsh. it is just really small bead thst if u use it everyday to wash ur face it wont overexfoliate

  • i understand what u mean but u look beautiful thanks for the tip

  • does lemon make woman of color get lighter skin?

  • I just started using Ambi a week ago. So far no improvements, but no irritation either. And it doesn't cake up under my foundation, which is a plus.

For hair growth, i swear by Biotin supplements. It WORKS,believe me on that one.

I use MAC Studio fix and it used to always look cakey on me. The only thing that helped was exfoliating with an aspirin mask and applying Neutrogena moisturizer for sensitive skin, which is extremely light, almost watery. But it works great under MAC foundations!

  • this is a good product i hope you like it.... it comes in 3 different forms.... this is an OLD video that I have about AMBI... and it's working nicely for me when I have the chance to put it on!! good luck

  • ive tried that ambi crap and it did nothing but dry out my skin.

  • they have it for dry skin... i believe with either aloe or vit e

  • thats the problem, i dont have dry skin. i have very oily skin and all that crap did was extremely dry it out. so i walked around with oily skin and flaky, dry, irritated skin on the parts i was trying to lighten.....not a good look AT ALL!

  • i eventually had to stop using AMBI for the very same reason. now i just go the natural way and rub a lemon slice over my face twice a day...and it works GREAT

  • I tried that once but didn't keep it up. I may have to try it again.

  • so lemon works great for clearing the acne or the dark spots? and its pronounced... SAY-LA-SIL-IC ACID

  • lemon is just a natural toner

  • it really didnt do my face any good so i'm tring something different...

  • i kno exactaly what you talkin about when you say the scaly feelin on your face its just dry skin i get it around my nose and cheeks i just keep some vasaline on it when ever im at the house and it will make it a better but if you keep some lotion or w/e on it its gonna look good
