@mytho89 When the gauge in the lower left corner is full, press Z to activate the starting blow. This is done by Player One's character; no other player can activate it. If you miss the initiating blow or it's blocked, it won't work. But if you hit them, press buttons corresponding to the four party members' special attacks (check the in-game menu) to continue the Unison Attack. Be sure to leave enough time between the attacks so that they hit as much as possible. Still confused? Try Gamefaqs.

Some of the unison attacks in this game are completely pointless, useless, and absolutely stupid. In particular, the retarded toy hammer attacks.

Yes and no. By default you can only run it on a Japanese PS2 but if you get a modchip or buy something called Swap Magic you can play games from other regions on any PS2.

Yeah. The name of the move is Ryuuko Metsugajin or 龍虎滅牙陣 in kanji which roughly translates to "dragon and tiger destroying fang formation". Most move names don't translate very well.

Sure. My point was that move names don't translate well if you want to keep the original meaning; you'll most likely lose something in translation.

The name you suggested sounds good in English so it would be a good translation even though you lose part of the name.

Well some are like that but many are rather different actually. There's a Tales series translation FAQ over at GameFAQs you can check out if you're interested. It's listed under most Tales games.

Not as far as I can tell. The naming changes depending on which move Sheena used (T type or S type version) but I think that's it.

depends really.

i like prism star (lv 3 genis spell and raine's ray) personally cause it hits fpr 30 plus youer attacks to set up the unison, helping with the comboing. each hit itself can be weak if the enemy has a high defence though or is resistant to light.

really though, i like lightning tigerblade (Lloyd tiget blade plus lightning spell) good damage and again, good for comboing,

If you want to learn either S or T type abilities without having to change your exphere's abilities, equip either the Strike Ring or Technical Ring found on the Sylvarant map and fight a couple fights until you've reached the Type you want.
