Also, you can guess it´s a fake by looking at the back and not noticing the CAVXXXX serial number wich all TAG´s have. Just look around the web and you´ll notice that each certain model of TAGHeuer has a "CAV" on the back left side....a genuine one, ofcourse. The other thing is the chronograph. The original swiss "sweeping" chrono-dial is much much smoother than this one...

well i got the fake watch, the huge difference betwen the gen and replica

1. the strap ( shiny in the replica and bad quality )

2. the movement ( u can tell inmidiatly )

3, the crystal ( fake ar is really bad )

4. case ( shiny black in the replica)

and a lot more , so this is one of those watches that as soon as u c it u know is fake there is other replicas that is really hard to tell if it is a replica or gen but this one even a blind guy can tell u , of course if he knows about watche

I own the real version of this watch and this one is FAKE! It looks quite realistic but isn't going to fool anyone who has seen or owns the genuine article. This might seem to be an option to the posers but I think anyone who aspires to buy a genuine TAG Heuer wouldn't cheapen themselves by buying a replica.

Think this is a real Tag. You can see the movement, and it's identical to the real one, fakes use asian movements. You should be able to change the date while the seconds are moving so you don't stop the time on the 1st of the month to just change the date. The sec did stop when changing the time, like it supposed to.Also the crown and all other Tag marked areas are correct. Also the second hand sweep is at 5 micromovements per sec consistant with swiss auto. Asian movement would be less smooth.

Asian movements can and often are much smoother than 5/p/s, but not cheap ones. The Seiko Spring drive has the smoothest movement ever made.

At any rate, unlike a real RS2, this one has a limited edition number on the back. It was originally supposed to be limited, but before release they changed it due to demand, so it's quite improbable that he has one of the originals.

I haven't seen the spring drive in person yet, though online it looks perfectly smooth. .. expensive watch though not compared to swiss mechanicals.. I'd like to have a Seiko spring drive.

yeah, I've been trying to even just hold one, but they're extremely rare. Right now I'm trying to get the Ananta Double Retrograde, although it's not a Spring Drive. I'd really like a Grand Carrera 17 though, and I'll put the RS2 leather strap on it. I'll get it one of these days.

Another super smooth movement is the Bulova Accutron (the original tuning fork models). But those are extremely rare.

If you want to look at an affordable Asian automatic that's excellent, try an Orient.

@ryanhayn It's not real. The real one has a titanium clasp, not the steel clasp shown, and this watch was never released as an LE. The original PR material showed it as an LE, but they decided against that and released it as a standard model.

Its a fake, I just got a real one. Impressive though. I can only tell really from the strap, the clasp should be titanium, and the leather strap is crap quality.. Too shiny. On the real one its more of a dark grey colour.
