I love Bounding Main. This is my favorite song of theirs. Actually I might have been at this performance.

StatenIslandFolkie, I do have to say that is a very conservative comment. I hope that you can understand that we recognize that we are NOT a traditional group, and that is our purpose. We take a theatrical and harmonic approach to these songs to offer a more contemporary take to the music. We have a great deal of positive feedback from listeners and fellow artists that this approach is s good introduction to the genre for the younger set who might not appreciate the traditional raw sound.

This would be much more agreeable to the eye and ear if the band eliminated the idiotic prancing and nonsensical backround vocals, and approached the song with a modicum of dignity. I don't mean to be the folk police, but I've never seen such a terrible approach to a traditional song. Maybe they were trying for a new approach to such an oft-sung song -- but I fear they missed their mark.
