Now where is Prashant Bhushan and Medha Patkar who advocated the removal of AFSPA and plebiscite in Kashmir? Removal of AFSPA should be postponed until after US withdrawal from Afghanistan. There is a strong likelyhood that we may witness increased terrorist activities as a result of withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and normalization of relations between Islamabad and Kabul with changing stance of Karzai government on Pakistan.
There is not gurantee that what happened in 1989 post soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan resulting in sudden increase in militant activities in Kashmir will not happen this time round. Left with noone to fight in Kabul, the terrorists might be asked to shift their focus on Kashmir by their bossess sitting in Islamabad.
With the US not being the same US that we have had under Bush presidency, the Pakistan might unleash the worst ever proxy war on India and if we are not prepared we will be doomed.

@deetinku I am from Delhi. I hate it wen ever I hear people acting stupid with North East people. I hate it wen politicians ignore North East. I hate it when the north goes all behind Anna ignoring the much bigger sacrifice made by Sharmila. The Anna agitation is a big drama with its roots in foreign countries eager to get a pie of Indian arms deal. The majority of our media is foreign funded furthering the agenda of foreign powers hence Sharmila remains ignored by them and rest of the nation.
If anna gets 100% in poll for that lok pall bill he should help kasmir and manipur first if that condition in irom chanu sharmila happens in anna hajari then what you indians will do,just think a person who is fasting for 11 years till jailing for this dreathfull act afspa and no one is helping is this what we call india
