crails dude. Bears are good too but i would go w/ crails they're not too expensive, you may be able to p/u used ones too.... As far as wheels don't skimp out but i've always like abec11s especially the gumballs. But you should try some o'tangs too, everyone seems to be riding them now

you guys are wrong the board will not make you any faster or slower its the rider not the gear!!! i ride a sector 9 top mount janky loose randal 180 trucks and old coned zigzags and my buddy has a deelight avenger smokies and brand new o tang in heats and i still keep up with him and most of the time beat him down mt. seymour!!! just remember its the rider not the gear

CARBON EVO!!!!! no i would never buy one but essentially if you put ceramics on an evo i dont think that there would be much competition for finding a faster board. also depends on the rider though

Tell that to K-rimes when he hit 77mph. Yea your right, tighter tuck, more aero also differs your speed. Overall I would not say its the fastest, it has competition with the d-lite boards

Get a Hellcat and a evo. Thats it. haha but O-tang urethane wears quick, gets slippery quick if you have the 80a. If you want a wheel that will last go for the 83a urethane. I like o-tangs, it seems to be a bandwagon thing, but i set my evo up with 80a Inheats and they have been holding lines well, but drifty and fun. Im gonna setup my hellcat with p-tangs for a slower urethane wear rate. Play around with bushing setups, try out different truck/wheel combos. what kind of riding u do??

i do carving, sliding, and commuting. i want to get some better sliding wheels cuz the ones that i have now are very grippy and barely slide at all. i havent been longboarding long but i am really into it so i think that it is worth it to get some kinda expensive wheels. (i am very cheap)

Retro freerides. ive ridden em and theyd be good for what u want, in the 80 or 83a. Or you could go o0tang and get either 83a 4prez or inheat, for a better sliding wheel stay in the 83a for otangs cause the 4pres and inheat are in a more grippy shape.

for what? if u want a good all around wheel get the otangs if u want a descent wheel for getting around and a good wheel for sliding get the retro freerides

Retro thane will wear slower and last longer, but a slower break intime. O-tangs with break in fast wear fast, and be slippery after a few runs. But for what you want i would go 83a 4pres or inheat. Although if you want to be sliding hardcore get the freerides. Also you could look at the otang freerides, super slidey. For me I like the feel of retro freerides but also i like the versatility of o-tangs

I like the Kryptonics Classic K 70mm 78a, because they are grippy when you want them too and are great at sliding when broken in, and it doesn't take much to do that. Plus they only cost like 18-25 bucks ^^

Ceramics are ideal over steel bearings at higher speeds as they do not heat up the same way standard steel bearings do, which can cause a bearing to malfunction, or even a wheel to melt
