Nilsson is as rough as she is graceless, skating through the whole scene without producing one single ounce of "legato": the one golden rule of principle that governs all kinds of singing. Again as I stated in another post: anyone who is in the opinion that Nilsson is a great opera singer should have his/her brain checked.
