Movies to Video Games Review -- Last Action Hero (SNES)

I played the game. And, well, most of the problems which were noted are there.

The time limit is worse than he stated. When I made it to the end of the first level(barely alive, as I was rushed near the end), I finished with only THREE seconds left on the timer. I can think of only one game with stingier time limits. This game deserved that .75 score you gave it.

Good review, like you said, this is one magic movie ticket I won't go anywhere near (after seeing how much of a dud this game is). However, when you were talking about the movie, you left out a bit of detail - Last Action Hero was Art Carney's final acting performance in life.

I remember playing this game on the genesis when i was about 6 years old, and, to make a long story short, my parents almost sent me to the psychiatric ward because of how bat shit crazy this game made me. It is good to know that I was right about this game all along. This was an excellent in depth review of how relentlessly bad this game was. My only hope now is that the retards that made this atrocity are dead and rotting like dog shit behind the back alley of a gay porno theater somewhere.

I havent played all of them but its Goldeneye for me. Not only does it stick to the movie pretty well, but its also easily in the top 100 games of all time.

Hell yeah its a movie! The first bond film with Pierce Brosnan. Quite good in my opinion.

As far as the game goes, if you like 1st person shooters at all, its a must play for you. its basically one of, if not the most, definitive 1st person shooter ever. Incredible game for its kind considering it came out in '96. Seems like every year or so I always have to break out my 64 and play through it (00 agent mode of course). A lot of it may just be nostalgia though..haha.

This was on of the worse written of the alnorld movies in the teen to adolscent age groups in all of his films combined. Surpisingly the movie did decent okay well make 40 million in the US but did even worse in the few itenational version that were released. Making it the third wose movie by profit sucess in theaters at the time of it's release that I have heard or reas the statistic for I have actually be able to track down or heard.

I respect your opinion. In my taste it was to toned down more then I was use to since he mostly did R rate movies priot to the early 90s when he did movies like like last action hero and Jingel all the way.

Well it only the third worse movie I've heard of that I got the actual statics of or were mentioned on how much it grossed. This movie made 40 million in USA less than in what international cuts that were released..
