  • That is not even a spinach. Your spinach looks like something else... and besides, spinach is not a filipino vegetable. use chopped pechay instead... Thai chili? better call it medium-size siling labuyo

  • Paprika is a spice that's basically sweet chili pepper powder. Most paprika is mild/bland and used mostly for color (like how Filipinos use asuete), but imported European paprika can be sweet, spicy or smoky. I used it recently to make lamb kabobs and it gave the meat a slight red-orange-yellowish tinge. Most recipes I've come across don't use paprika as the only spice; I think it's a spice that's used best in conjunction with other spices for the full effect.
