  • what sizes are those and what heads are on it

  • What snare drum?

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX it's a pearl sensitone elite brass 14x5

  • @Blofeldrummer Jeez those snare drums really are as great as people say they are.

  • what ride is that?

  • @boybawang9997 K custom dry ride 20'

  • That floor tom sounds amazing.

  • Hey how do you tune your toms? finger tight? 1/4 turn? 1/8 please share your secrets :D those toms sound A-mazing

  • whats hyperdrive mean

  • @VicenteKidd Short toms and big bass drum.

  • they sound flat like my kit, except mine is just really badly tuned

  • Toms,... dont have they too short sustain?

  • I WANT

  • Would you recommend getting batter heads for the toms?

  • Do you recommend me the Tama Bubinga/Birch drum for hard rock/metal? They sound great

  • @Marc716 Well. I can recomend that. They sound amasing in a heavier context.

  • @Marc716 yes but maybe not in hyperdrive.

  • @Blofeldrummer would the starclassic peformer babinga burch drum shell pack be good for metal?

  • @TheTwilightOfChaos look at the mike portnoy starclassic bubinga kit in the suggestions.

  • @Blofeldrummer Jason Costa begs to differ ;)

Nice playing and tuning by the way. Keep on drumming!

  • @Blofeldrummer but hyper drive are great for metal !!!!

  • @Marc716 I'm going to get these in hyperdrive, and I play hard rock/metal. As a reference, Jason Costa from All That Remains uses hyperdrive, and if you've ever heard them on the album or live (which I have), they're incredibly great sounding. I wouldn't worry about going for hyperdrive.

  • @Marc716 its part bubinga and part birch. mike portnoy plays bubinga and lars ulrich did birch tama granstar on black album, these would be great for metal if u put on diff skins. powerstrokes and no matter what i usually put an emad on bass drum.

  • @Marc716 these are the shit for metal!

  • @Meatlooaf i was just gonna post some hater comment cause i read these are shit for metal... but yes they are the shit... for pretty much everything

  • @c0d3x001 No NO, THE shit meaning, Perfect for metal!

  • @Meatlooaf yeah but when i read it i accidentally skipped the word the so i already got angry and wanted to post a hater comment until i noticed that you actually meant THE shit :D so yeah i got you

  • I want your ride cymbal

  • what are the depth sizes of those rack toms?

  • desperate 2 know what crashes are they

  • Hey! It sounds awesome! what mics d you use?

  • Eh, not a fan. Tama's are over priced. I recommend mapex, that's if you want something that sounds great and is affordable.

  • what tom mics are u using here?

  • dude thanks for this post. Yours is the first video where someone actually hit individual drums slowly so the listener could hear each drum one at a time instead of just trying to play a solo and overwhelming the listener with everything at once. Now I actually have an idea as to the sound of the kit. thanks again!

  • @steve311rocks Thanks!

  • OMG THAT FLOOR TOM FOR MY ARM!!!!!!!!

  • is this really a bubinga hyperdrive?

i didn't know they made hyperdrives for the bubinga series...

heard very good reviews for both types of kits (the bubinga series and the starclassing hyperdrive series).

i was curious how good it would sound if it was a bubinga hyperdrive kit so i searched this up.. and here it is

    sounds nice

  • @tambourDOM yes it's a tama performer bubinga hyperdrive. it's made with bubinga

(3 ply) and birch (4 ply).

  • Dude.... take this as a compliment?... you... are on lucky SOB to have a kit like that.... Tama Performer Bubinga PLUS Sabian AAX cymbals? D:

  • is this a b/b or just staright bubinga.?

  • @IchMagSechs it's a B/B kit

  • the room is a little bit too dry in my opinion. but the drums sound perfect!

  • Cool drummin man :)

Brann Dailor from Mastodon very good drummer

  • wow nice drum sound very clean! any tips?

  • @Blofeldrummer What is the name of the finish/colour on your drums? :P

  • What finish is that?

  • @mastertakla93

    Black Diamond Dust

  • dood u shoulda busted a friggin brann dailor fill so u could get a really good test out of it!

  • best drummer there is

  • @zing713amw i know i love ol' brann!

Do you know stagg in US?

  • borring

  • thanks for your comment, but it's only a test... and not a drum solo! ;)

  • @tjalfedaugaard
