I saw them in concert in Charlotte, N.C. on the Bad Animals tour. It was amazing. Ann belted it out like nobodies business. She sounded just like she did in the studio version. Best female vocalist I've ever heard.

they should have released a live cd late 1988 after their bad animals tour instead of in 1991. 1991 live cd sounded terrible. brigade deflated my enthusiasm for heart but all these years later no woman came along who is better than ann wilson and no one ever will be better even though i do not like a lot of the music ann made since 1990 with the exception of their 1993 release.

Oh, Bad Animals Live. This is such (ironically) a much better song live in an arena than it is on the record (where it also rocks hard!), doesn't get much better than this. Sweet vid too, nice pics. :)

I really must say .. this is one of Heart's weakest songs. It's almost depressive and low-key .. melancolic and slow. If Anne Wilson didn't have such a voice, the whole song would really .. s-ck.

I have the pro shot video of 1990 which proves their concert was awesome. Rock the House was recorded badly. I have the same recordings of boots from 85-88 and they went much heavier for Brigade.

That may be true for you, BUT this year I finally got to see them and they blew the 80's away in for style , songs AND PERFORMANCE !!! They weren't the 70's band but the girls deffinitly had ATTITUDE !!!

No, the recording for the 1991 cd was bad. It wasn't the band but, the venue that made it sound thin. It sounds much like an audience recording.

I saw this tour in December 1987 at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. Mr. Mister opened. Heart put on an awesome show. I was planning to go see them in another location in February 1986, but a sudden death in my family prevented that. I could have gone, but I probably couldn't have lived with myself if I had. Anyway, did anyone else catch the Bad Animals tour? Please reply if you did. Thanks.

Thats nice but they have never lost it. It may be that the "band" and coroporate has taken a toll on them SO desire walked in and they got refreshed and moved along. I personaly think private additions was by far their worst effort but again it seems at the end of a good thing they put out crap. So the end of the 70's and the tiresome 80's have done their damage. NOW Ann & Nancy move on to the future...

i have this boot i think (assuming heart only did one radio broadcast on the bad animals 1987-88 tour) and it's dated august 2nd 1987 in portland, oregon. also, the song segues into "the wolf", which indicates 1987. i have a 1988 concert where bad animals was done on its own w/o a medley.
