  • couldn't agree more! :)

  • @Extreme57 spud!

  • Trying to invent a reason for everything doesn'T make it real.

  • Atheists believe this is as good as it's gonna get, pretty much. That's just depressing, even if I grew up knowing zero information regarding religion or theism.

  • @TubeS0UP It is what it is. Depressing or not, reality is not determined by what you think of it. If this is as good as it gets at least I know to make the most of it. I am not wishing my life away hoping for something unseen.

  • @imaginenoreligion By all means if you are TRULY happy, who should attempt to persuade you. To say someone exercising faith and spreading good work or deeds is 'wishing away' and 'hoping for the unseen' is not entirely accurate :þ Would you agree that work and lives, in general, of current believers are a definite factor in why non believers are deterred? People tend to point fingers at everyone else whenever they question something. S/he is/not doing that, why should/not I? Muddled up innit?

  • @TubeS0UP Good works or deeds are not the monopoly of those with faith, and have no bearing on what is or is not real. The faithless can be as passionate, less passionate, or more passionate about helping others.

This is as good as it gets, so enjoy the ride, and soak it up.

  • Wow. Why did you bother answering? The answers made less sense than the questions. To be fair, Christians get some pathetic questions too "Why didn't God kill Hitler? Why doesn't God heal everyone? Who made God? Mmmm... not worth answering. Your answer about right and wrong is so far wide of the mark, yet a typical atheistic position. If you think right and wrong depends on whether it hurts others then how can you teach a child that it's wrong to lie if it hurts no one?

  • @foveostag It's not wrong to lie if it hurts no-one. Should Anne Frank have been handed over to the Nazis when German officers were searching the building she was hiding in? No! Lying was clearly the moral choice in this situation.

It can be moral to lie in certain situations, My answers make sense. Screw your head on.

  • G'day from Down Under! I really enjoyed watching your video "10 Crappy Questions Every Atheist Must Answer." What I related to most was your sense of frustration & almost speechlessness that people can hold beliefs that appear so absurd. I was chatting with an acquaintance recently who believes in a religion called "Attractionism." It is seriously bizarre! I asked questions, but didn't bother to try to rationalize with her, because her mind was so closed. Discussion with her was futile.

  • Would long time no see be a bit of an understatement? Those were crappy questions.

  • @TheNakedAtheist well over a year, and yes they were poorly thought out questions.

  • "If there's no god, then why is there anything at all?" The universe formed naturally, like everything else we see. Just because the mechanism of that formation isn't yet known doesn't give right to the questioner to put whatever fairy tale most appeals to them in that gap of knowledge.

  • @LordSlag

    i think he knows...

  • @TRAdamTM He didn't say so.

  • @LordSlag Agree 100%
