hey ronald have you ever tried reading the act well i have you know what the first 100 pages are amendments to the U.S.C. (United States Code) which is a list of every federal law. so in order to under stand the patriot act you must put the amendments that the act proposes into the context of the code

Even if politicians were given two weeks to understand it fully most would have a very difficult time because they would have to understand both the US code and the act which is very confusing.
