Here's my advice:

Correct the grammar mistakes.

The word "babe" is overused.

If you're going to make it realistic...make it realistic! They had only been going out for a couple of hours and she would die for him? Also the cancer and their age. The hospital bit- wouldn't anyone else be there? "Sooooo...", "YES!!!" "OMG", etcetera don't work well in writing, especially non-speech and sad parts. It ruins it.

Also this is a bit of a cliche concept.
