AJ isn't that big of a hand. For a tight player like Lederer. It's a basic fold. Ace paint of position is not a comfortable place to be. Especially against the calibur of players he's against. There is nothing wrong with limping utg with aj. 99 percent of the hands i play utg i limp no matter what i have when i play. If someone raises big enough then u can just fold your call and lose almost no money. Depends on your playing style.
well i think it maybe gets down to your preflop style. And on the table you play, against uberweak people i might play it.
I dont like the play on a normal or strong table because youre likely to be out of position with the worst hand and AJo is not even a good drawing hand. Its just not a spot i want to be in and i think it loses money for most players in their normal game.
But if youre a great postflop player and can get away from tptk hands or aces easily and cheap it might be ok for you.

AJ isn't that big of a hand. For a tight player like Lederer. It's a basic fold. Ace paint of position is not a comfortable place to be. Especially against the calibur of players he's against. Raising In that spot would tell all the players that he has a monster. He's not going to get action unless he's crushed. Click the button in the lower right hand corner, and quit bitching.

There is nothing wrong with limping utg with aj. 99 percent of the hands i play utg i limp no matter what i have when i play. If someone raises big enough then u can just fold your call and lose almost no money. Depends on your playing style.

well i think it maybe gets down to your preflop style. And on the table you play, against uberweak people i might play it.
I dont like the play on a normal or strong table because youre likely to be out of position with the worst hand and AJo is not even a good drawing hand. Its just not a spot i want to be in and i think it loses money for most players in their normal game.
But if youre a great postflop player and can get away from tptk hands or aces easily and cheap it might be ok for you.
