Tomas was hoping to be drafted in 1st round. More or less he was thinking it will be Pittsburg or Chicago.
Never had a favourite Nhl Team, but it is a different story now :)
Tomas is saying how important is to get a chance after being drafted. He is happy because Detroit likes its young players and giving them a chance to prove the quality they have been drafted for!
Tomas is very excited to play in Detroit and can't wait to play aside likes Datsyuk which has a very similar style Tomas has.
