this is such a personal song. i recently accepted christ to re-enter into my life. I fought it as hard i could. i didn't want to change. i was having fun drinking partying doing drugs and lieng to everyone around me. it felt good to be bad. but i've been found. ive seen the light and for once, once in my miserable life-i'm happy. all i need is a guitar pen and paper and God. i'm happy.

Well I am not a cutter but I was in a Domestic violence situation and this song was very powerful to me when I heard it.I knew right away it was about abuse of some sort just because of the words.Even though I am not a cutter I did become suicidal in my journey to gaining freedom from my abusers hands.Praise God I believe he led me to this song to inspire me and comfort me,and all of those who going through all kinds of abuse!!!!
