  • I'm an atheist, and even i like this song. Pretty beastly a groove, if ya ask me.

  • eu fui defecado por deus kkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • *sigh* my fave album :)

  • Mefisto disliked this.

Either that or one person is defected from God.

  • Kamelot is just amazing, yet so hated by Google chrome spell check.

  • Epic!! :D Kamelot really knows how to kick asses

  • I never thought a metal song could be romantic but still so bad ass...fuckin a this band is amazing

  • *rocks the fuck out in chair*

  • I like any of their music, period, but i especially love Epica and the Black Halo, and even then i really really like it if it has Mephisto as a character in the song...

  • Wait, is this song's pulse parallel to the Black Halo (the song)?

  • Hmm looks like somebody missed the "Like" button.

  • This song.... I love it! Crrently my favourite. It's so... well... i don't know.... gah, love it anyway.

  • i think these guys are a band that really feel the music that they play, and they put a lot of passion and feeling in shows, I LOVE THEM!

  • i love the passion the whole band especially roy khan puts in every song :)

  • love this song :D

  • Ennnnooooooooooooorrrrme !!! Grrreat SSSssSSSoooOOOOooong

  • epic song... Kamelot rule dudes...

  • I love how they took the segment from Farewell...amazing.

  • Agreed. Best part of the song - maybe cept when the 5/4 kicks in.

  • i love the song

  • At the end of Memento Mori (I guess), Helena is whispering Ariel´s name. That´s very symbolic.

    I like this song. 4/4.

  • A favourite game of my young friend Michał (15) is Final Fantasy, he told me a lot about Ariel & others and I watched a bit of it on YT - really interesting... The Kamelot music I know only through my friend too ~ the most I like this their work, my friend knows, why:] One more a thank you from me, this time for you, SlackProduction!

  • Come on, I know it: Ariel and others / Kamelot, but Vincent, Cloud and others / FF. By the way, have you seen fan-made vid by darknovaGW?...^^ Really ingeniously: 2in1:) So, can we stop to argue about it, please?;D

  • O, raju... Tak, Michał, to naprawdę brzmi trochę jak gitara Junichiro♫...:] Dziękuję!

  • thanks for this :)

  • Thanx, Now I know! Didn´t really think he said that, just sounded that way:) I allready knew Khan is Norwegian by the way. I assume the speakingpart in the beginning of "Interlude I: Dei Gratia" is Norwegian as well?! It´s exactly the same as the Swedish sentence though. "fader vår du som är i himlen..."

  • Latin dude.

  • It is the lords prayer (i think that is what it's called in english) in norwegian.

  • No, he's right, it's Latin.

  • No it is not, i AM Norwegian, i think i recognize my own language when i hear it.

  • My mistake, I relistened to the song. I thought you were referring to the lines beginning with "sub sole nihil novi est."

  • If you turn up the volume you can hear a voice shouting in the beginnning, does anybody knows what is said? I don´t, but it actually sounds like swedish and that he´s saying "pelle är död" (means pelle is dead)

  • Haha, I must admit it did sound like that

  • Although, I thought it was "Helena!"

  • @SlackProduction im preaty sure it is but it sucks that kamolot cant act this out they dont hve the buget but i might be "elana" or "helana"

  • @SlackProduction it is 'Helena' (I mean come on, if pelle is dead, which he is not, how stupid would that sound in comparison to the whole story????

  • @SlackProduction

It is, turn it up loud, it's Khan calling in a muted voice =]

  • @SlackProduction I think ur right. it does sound alot like Helena. Plus it would make sense given the subject of this particular song.

  • @SlackProduction Helena is the right answer ,guys :)

  • LOL! No, he shouts "Helena". She dies one or two songs before this one storywise so it's just logical. Also, the singer is Norwegian, so it was a close one but then again, Kamelot aint the band to include such things in their songs.

  • He says "Helena"... :)

  • @swedenmetalfan Haha, ja tror det är "helena" :P

  • @swedenmetalfan LOL! That made me laugh. But yes, it does sound like Pelle är död. Scary.

  • @swedenmetalfan he says: "helena"

  • Wikipedia? xD

  • It is interesting that they use the roman numerals instead of 3 or "Three." I doubt this has much significance but I find it interesting. This song is awesome!

  • so snow and like the shadows didnt contribute to the story?

  • Nope, that's right, I guess it's due to it being exclusive bonus content. For instance, I don't have Snow on my album.

  • @shalowbayer101: Not directly. But they are related to it, and show some different elements of the relationship between Ariel and Mephisto, and his thoughts on Helena.

  • The BEST song on Epica...

  • I don't know, Feast for the Vain is pretty good too... and Farewell... and The Edge of Paradise... and Descent of the Archangel... and Center of the Universe...

This album is so insanely good.

  • This is one of the best songs on the Epica album.

and this makes it easier to read and listen to the song instead of switching to wiki alot.

  • How they reuse a part of the melody of "Farewell" in this song is just genius!

And as always: ROY KHAN WTF!

  • I think you mean "FTW" xD

  • hahahhahaha!

  • thanks, ive never been too good at interpreting songs but with kamelot its so much easier...i was off a bit though, i missed the part of love, thanks man keep up the work

  • just finished listening to the first part and the first time i've heard this band...and id have to say that i love it!

    Absolutely amazing!!

This made me want to read the play! :D

    On to part two!!!

  • Also, its called three ways to Epica, because

the universe can be only understood based in trust for a higher being, love for another person or joy at ones life...

Or something like that, i think i read it in songmeanings

  • Cool ;)

  • wheres black halo start at? march of mephisto and when the lights are down?

  • That is correct. :)

  • Yep.

  • Kick. Ass.

  • Indeed. Indeed. I full-heartedly agree.

  • I just love how the text in the refrain goes into eachother, i just love it!

Nice idea to make these vids, they are really good.

  • Well, thank you ;) I guess I'd better get on with making "The Black Halo" parts. Not that it's much work :P

  • Beautiful piece of music indeed.
