Disclaimer: I am a caucasian.

In fact, I'm so damn white, it takes me 3 months in the sun just to neutralize the blue.

And I do have bigoted flaws in my personality. My most pronounced bigoted flaw is my distaste for religion that has grown over the last 8 years.

And yes... This bigoted flaw absolutely clouds my judgement at times.

But... I'm not in any position where I make decisions that this would become an issue. I'm merely an educated member of the middle class.

We finally got rid of the Bush administration, and his party has become a joke in our country.

The healing has begun. The wounds hurt like hell right now, but the healing has started.

And it won't happen again. The church is now in its place, and is where our founding fathers wanted it to be. It is no longer running our government.

That was our mistake. The religious fanatics and rednecks took over our country.

Why is it some expect our President to pre-judge the actions of the justice system. Do we not hold that separation of power sacred? Should we not value the rule of law, evidence and their consequences over what anyone of us including the President would suppose them to be? Leadership is creating a system that works on it's own, not being the only entity with the power to affect the outcome.

Until justice is served and the air is fully cleared on the Bush administration, we will not be able to move on from this. It is a grave mistake to expect the American people (and people around the world) to simply sweep this under the rug and let bygones be bygones. There must be an accounting. History, and those who were wronged, expect justice to be served.
