if you get the lady killer thing, you go up to nova and she will give you the password to his terminal. then it tells you where he went without having to pay 100 caps

orc, i absulutelly love this game! i finished it once now im going to do it again and do the things i missed. On the first time around, i used the citadal glitch then i went to vault 87 and got the GECK and gave it. So i never got to do it right. and i never met my dad, never was able to get back into vault 101 and i missed out on the tranquility lane :'( i finished the game at lvl 23 lol

Hotkeys. In Pip-Boy, hold down a number from 1-8 and click on the wanted weapon or armor for that slot.

u dont have to pay 100 caps. u can pick his cabnet lock, get the password for his computer then search in visitors or sumtin.u'll find a name tht says "James (Vault 101) click on it and it'll say sumtin bout him bein gone for 20 years then showin up outa now where then left to D.C. then the quest will be upated.

word of advice.... when you talk to the majority guy or whatever his name is. If you lie to him and tell him that your dad used to talk to about him to you all the time... then he gives u the info for free and doesnt charge you a hundred caps. Carry him through the convo until that part and you get it for free. Nice vid btw

By lvl 7 I had TB-15 Power armor, lvl 8 Outcast power armor, and 9 I got the Enclave Power armor. But I still haven't beaten this fucking quest.

I got my first really strong weapon from Roy Philips after I took the Chinese Assault Rifle off his body. Soon after that I found the laser rifle, the laser pistol and a ton of ammo for it, a hunting rifle, eventually the .44 scoped magnum, saweed off shotgun, .10 SMG, and even later on, a flamer and a minigun from super mutants. I still have all of these guns and I'm only level 6. I'm going to do more side quests and level up more before I go through Friendship Heights and raid DC.

i just learned that once you climb the stairs, just face the fence, then turn around and youll see a door that leads toa n office, in there you will find a lazer pistol, some energy cells, a lazer pistol instruction guide card, a metro ticket, and a easy terminal to unlock a safe that i think contains (of course) pre-war money and more energy cells. sorry for the miss consumption guys...

if you cant lock pick it, the only other solution is to move through the large destroyed....raider infested.....super mutant dwelling....city....in the end i think you encounter a rocket launcher raider and a mini gun raider, along with a couple of raiders with knives and shit.....sounds easy enough right?

Yup. Same happened to me once. If you go to G.N.R the Bros of steel won't be there. Just follow the quest marker, it doesnt really matter if you skip quests

its called the chinese asault rifle.. u just get it from ppl or u can buy it from sum1.. i kno that in megaton, jericho has 1 and they take 5.57mm bullets, the same as the normal asault rifles

when you break the lock you dont have to take the metro station you can just go to where the metro station ends follow the brotherhood of steel guys and then after that you HAVE to take it
