I have a summer home 10 minutes away from the M.D. in Cheshire CT, the one who was defenseless against the two felons who beat him to a pulp, raped his wife, daughters and then burnt them alive. IF this M.D. had a gun to protect them, good chance they would all be alive. I know of several M.D.'s who differ. Better to be defended.

I have a Benelli Nova Tactical and I believe that it is absolutely better than the 870. Mine is a few years old and it's smoother than any of the three 870s I've owned. A bit bulkier and heavier but that doesn't bother me. I don't have much experience with 500s other than field stripping and cleaning my dad's a few times. The Benelli is a LOT easier to clean than a Mossy!
@misery556 I have experience owning all 3 (Benelli, Remington & Mossberg) and like everything in life, each one has its strengths & weakness's. They all do what they are advertised to do. Its just personal preference on what features you like really. All 3 brands have either military or police experience so in my opinion I'd be happy with any of them if SHTF.
Just occurred to me... Did you sell your 590SP? I remember when I got my SPX I joined Mossberg Owners and saw a vid link to your vid on a regular/SP 590 20". I think you said you wanted the Benelli so you could have a pump, did you sell that bad boy? Great vid BTW, I REALLY liked your 2-parter review too. @reeseman67 You are correct. I sold my 590SP a while ago to buy the Benelli SNT. I am on the hunt for a plain Jane Mossberg 500 though. I really love the Mossbergs dual extractors.
Hey man I was just comparing the recoil on your Super Nova Vs the Mossberg your dad was using and I'm really amused lol Super Nova has significantly sell recoil than the Mossberg.
@Misiekgren Lol, thats not my dad. I was calling him Dan. Not dad lol. Actually the Mossberg does have less recoil due to it being gas operated and it has a recoil spring which both absorb recoil. Dan just had bad technique because its was his first time shooting the Mossberg and he doesnt have alot of experience with shotguns. Watch my other Mossberg videos where I do mag dumps and you'll see the difference.

@mixflip Yea, after I bring home the 590A1 and go shoot it with its' sibling, the 930 SPX and my Win 1300 Defender(sorry, but it's gotta be THE SMOOTHEST PUMP EVER!!! And yea, I've shot Benelli&Fabarm pump's, winchesters' are just like... INDESCRIBABLY SMOOTH!) The inertia bolt helps them both on speed, think the fastest 'pump dump' I've ever seen is still the 'speedpump' Winchester 1300!! But, I cant wait to move from Mossy pump, to Win 1300 Defender, Mossy Semi, Benelli Nova PG/LPA Tactical!

Yeah, but a broke one with both these new shotguns in just a month or so. These things get expensive to feed at the rate I am going. Damn this good weather here in Vegas!!! Its great shooting weather in the winter.
