I think the authorities pretty much had no choice but to arrest him at first because the whole incident looked pretty violent and it may not be 100% obvious who did what and who was at fault. Just like if you shoot someone in self defense you probably get arrested at first cause they do have to investigate and then you get released and go home.

When we passed the "Concealed Carry Law" here in Texas, violent crome went down by almost 30%. In the years since, the number of illegal uses of legally obtained hand guns have been almost non-existant. The concealed carry law makes for a polite society. Rayon would be lauded if he lived here. I think the authorities pretty much had no choice but to arrest him at first because the whole incident looked pretty violent and it may not be 100% obvious who did what and who was at fault. Just like if you shoot someone in self defense you probably get arrested at first cause they do have to investigate and then you get released and go home.
