If we didn't keep the lame:cool ratio in check, then eventually some places would have only cool people. The only problem is that half of the cool people there would just become lame in comparison to the other people, and have to go somewhere else. The population of cool people would just continue halving itself until there were no cool people left, and the entire world was just really lame. Next time think before you call a system that prevents the world from eternal lameness "INEFFICIENT!"

Ok so did you thing that out of the lame people half the people could become cool in comparison then to where the cool people are then the people trade becomes a cycle. It also may allow more people to be cool and not be eternally lame. Think it through next time you try to be all smart.
