  • @260191894 haha pat is really fucking strong, but hes not at that level to compete and win against top world class super heavyweights yet. iran has many great supers other than rezazadeh. there was a 21 year old iranian who snatched 215kg and clean and jerked 270kg in training

  • hello, how are you supposed to keep your lower back straight when you reach parallell?

    I tend to round my back when i reach about 2 inches above parallell. if I flex my back hard and lift my chest up, I can only reach 2-3 inches above parallell..

    any tips?

    additional information:

    - age 16

    - bodyweight about 210 pounds

    - height 6'4-6'5

    - no lifting experiences prior to this

  • @BROZKNOWS Isn't it more about the back being straight in the bottom posisition, not about the buttwink? I can go pretty deep, but if i go too low my back starts to lean forward and i lose the tension in my back. But i guess that has to do with my ankle mobility

  • i have a question. do oly lifters bounce of the bottom because they are flexible? i mean i dont feel like i can bounce from the bottom when i use heavy weight, and its not that i dont go deep but not as deep as an ATG bounce. i wish i could but i'm afraid of injury. maybe it will improve with fleixabllity? i regulary do strecthes and have been improving my lower body flexabillity a lot lately

  • @JustBetter10 its better to go deep because the tension is placed on the hamstrings, more fibers are used, and it saves your knees. deep squats also command high respect in my opinion

  • @smats42 before starting any form of sport everytime i lifted a bag of grocery and smth i thought to myself this is heavy alright what if it were a challenging weight , a bag of grocery made my frame feel uneasy so in my mind i think wow those guys who lift weights to showoff must be in serious pain ,without knowing that with training everything feels automatic, so thats what idiots on youtube who comment think thats why theres so much hate ..
